No, not if you look in the right places and have prayed about it. I know someone whose wife passed away on 12/12/22. This person doesn't want to be single so went on Christian Mingles, after a few months mourning period. He lives in SoCal and met a young lady who lives in AZ on the borders of CA and Nev. Last July they had a small wedding and this coming June will have a formal wedding. If I was looking in this day and age, I'd definitely be covering all bases. We don't know how much time we have here and esp if the person wants a family, they should take action, being cautious of course. With God all things are possible', right? 😍🙌🙌🙌

I dunno... Depends what you're fishing for. You catch whatever likes the bait you used, but some fish are a lot more plentiful and faster to catch than others. Anybody can catch a catfish, but bream take a bit more patience... And you might have to throw back a few catfish.

It's always easy to get a guy or girl who wants to fool around, and it's easy to advertise for that kind of partner. The right kind of clothing, or lack thereof, the right kind of attitude and you can find someone.

If you're fishing for something else it might take longer. But you'll like what you caught a lot better.

Like every other era and almost every other commodity, the best deals can be found when you can afford to wait until you find them. If you go shopping when you run out of food, you pay whatever you must for whatever you can get. If you stock up on good deals you can afford to wait for the next good deals.

If you feel like you have to find someone RIGHT NOW you'll probably settle for much less than you want and have to pay a lot more to get it. If you don't fear being alone you can wait until you find a good person.

With God, indeed, all things are possible, including love and marriage.

I was able to do it five times in the past 45 years, so it should be easy for anyone to do once...
Quote from a Ray Stevens song about People's Court: "

"I've decided I'm done with getting married. I'm just gonna go out every two years or so, find some woman I can't stand and buy her a house."

And if so or not, why?
Yes.. because the moral quality of people has declined. Of course there are exceptions to this.. But they are becoming so rare that one has to be very fortunate to find a person of quality.. The Jezebel spirit seems to have a hold on so many woman these days..

And if so or not, why?
It is far easier to find a wife now than in my late teens early twenties.
I was working on the career then and focussing on college, ministry and other work. As a leader of the only conservative evangelical Christian fellowship on campus, pickings were still somewhat slim for what should have been.

Although there are college girls who are still attracted, those older have commonly already been married and divorced. I'm not interested in someone who Jesus does not approve of marrying. He said,

"18Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery."
Luke 16:18

I don't want to be some woman's 10th, 20th, hundredth choice as if I want what's scraped off of everyone's plate into the bin at a cafeteria either. I don't care how it's dressed up, it's still not appetizing.

So, yeah it's way too easy to find a wife, but I have decided to not marry anyone else's wife or anything that passes for the best the heathen school system has raised.
Thanks Christian parents for raising a generation of heathens!
☕😐👍

Some of them did great jobs, but most of those few were sent off to Bible colleges.
That doesn't leave much at church and I don't plan on going out looking for some christian bar fly.
My Father invested way too much in my life to throw it away to a Gomer

Speaking of the Jezebel spirit... oh, yes! Always the woman's fault .:oops::geek:

Decent men rarely seem to realize how poorly most other men treat women.
