"statistics" is the truth, harsh it may be.
if "same old song" is too offensive, then what phrase should I use in english to describe the same thing that keeps repeating over and over and over again? I'm not a native english speaker, but in my language, it's not really that offensive.

raise your sister from the dead? of course HE can. HE did that to lazarus, although HE intentionally waited for several days before actually doing that.

have you read the BIBLE? read it, again, and again, and again, and again, until the day you stop breathing. only then can you gain understanding on GOD's character and behavior.

And here I thought bologna was gone,such drivel,You don't have to do "anything" for God to answer "any" prayer request,God doesn't turn a deaf ear when he hears pleads,seems you think that God has to see faith and action before he seeks to help us,as in that he isn't our heavenly father,have you not read?..."before we loved him he loved us",though some may not accept him wholly at first,or not at all,he helps by "answering prayers"before" we even believe upon him,for who doesn't cry out to God?
prayers aren't all just kneeling,or bowing type actions,some prayers are unsaid but asked for from our heart.

okay then, then you dont do anything, while I'll keep trying consulting with the HELPER and do what must be done. it's been working fine for me, and tons of other people, both in the BIBLE and in real world.
have you read the BIBLE? from genesis to revelation? if you have, it would change your mind.
many people say GOD is like this, GOD is like that, but they havent even finished reading the BIBLE even once, while others have read the BIBLE mor than ten times, 50 times, a hundred times, and still learning something new each time about GOD

I'm a volunteer counselor, I know what I'm talking about, not making this stuff up.
as I said before, many guys broke up with their girlfriend once they know that she's not a virgin anymore. some even about to get married, but once know about this, cancelled the marriage.

I think this could be a great idea for a thread. And you are right He is ABLE. I always seek comfort in that myself.

I wish CC could be more like this. Giving a small prayer or verse for encouragement. That is what a broken hearted need. That is what we all need from time to time, even the most content of us.

How would it be to go through a rough time without faith in Jesus? Now it is unimaginable.

I gave advice, but not only for OP, but for everybody that hasnt experienced this kind of problem, so that they wont experience it.
what I gave is based on the BIBLE and what I've seen in real world experienced by real people, but yeah, sometimes, people just dont like what the BIBLE has to say and say that it's ridiculous and would "ruin" things....
many people dont even try to read the BIBLE from beginning to end, and still they always come up with how GOD "should be like this, should be like that" based on their wants and needs...
well, I guess that's the unique power of the BIBLE, it will automatically repel those who only listens to oneself, but refuse the guidance of the LORD.
time is running out, and what people worry more is "hurt feelings, too offensive, etc", instead of "wow, I already have the best manual to know GOD better" and quickly start reading your BIBLE and stop trying to create an illusion of how GOD should be based on one's desires.
