What things do you older gals like to receive as gifts??

I mean as if a guy was your close friend or something like that...

I really have no idea.. lol!. Help!:D!!

I think if you have to fish for things to think of in the department of women's gifts, you are not nearly inspired enough.

I would keep looking until you find one that you cannot help but deliver the world at her feet.

I haven't talked to her in years and this is not that kind of thing where you like the girl.. and are getting her a gift! Lol!

Well then get her something uninspired and generic, like a watch or a 20 dollar iTunes card. Everyone loves music. =P

UM.... a friendly mannered gift? Close friend gifts. Listen to her, she'll give you a hint of what she would want as a gift.

If I were your close friend, a Doctor Who doohicky would guarantee a hug.


Think about these things, what are her favorite TV shows? Does she like to draw? Does she have an absolute favorite color? A guy friend gave a girl friend of mine a coloring book and crayons and she actually uses it.

Yeah you can probably lose the phrase "you older gals" haha. If you say that to your friend you might as well forget the gift she would be done then and there lolll.

What is the occasion you are buying for? If nothing, just get a card.

lol, ok thanks alot! That gave me some really good insight! I will try that but that means that I will have to look into her profile, really tho, it's been years since I talked to her, she was 17 and I think she is 23 now lol! Older now! lol! I was just saying that because there are a lot of girls under 20 in here, ah... I don't know. Thanks a lot for your input!

She's cool, hahaha.. She would probably just laugh it off, we both feel old because everyone else younger just graduated from high school! haha!

I was thinking something along the lines of her birthday... Something with a fair amount of shock value?..

Now that I have even moore information--- I vote for nostalgia. If you can find a gift that has something to do with a shared memory- that's a good bet as well.

I'm still laughing at the''older gals''. I hope you don't put that on a birthday card :).

Starbucks gift card, a Forever21 gift card, a Macy's gift card, an iTunes gift card or maybe something that is not a card. It all depends on what your friend likes....if she is just a friend.

Well, as one of the ''Older gals'' on CC, I would say get her a Matlock DVD set. Or Murder She Wrote Season 1. All the older gals enjoy that. Or a months supply of Geritol or Depends. We older chicks dig that stuff like you wouldn't believe! Or if she is really special, you can give her a gift certificate to a cafeteria-style restaurant. The ladies love that!
