Could you elaborate?
Sometimes, I find it not worth the effort, sure I'd like to be married, I think it's a good desire, but at what cost? The constant back and forth games? And everything said above. People are going to go for what is bad, so let them have it, saves you heart ache

I don't know - it's hard not to come off pessimistic in this thread response lol

Haha yeh you're coming off a little pessimistic. I think in some scenarios I agree with you. Like, don't waste your time on a woman that wants to go for the bad guy. Make her aware of the mistake she's made but then leave her to it and do you. Live and let God.
But I'm not one for totally giving up on "the dating game" or pursuing a spouse.

Fam, you sound a little hurt. Is everything cool? Anything you wanna share? We've got you, man!

You're right about finding out till after marriage, with certain people, what type of person they are. However, I think this is where commitment comes into play. People change everyday, you learn something new about someone everyday. Comes down to commitment.

Of course, I don't condone abuse. That is a different topic.
I would just have to be extra careful, my ex was very abusive of our children. Then I dated two different Christian men who had criminal backgrounds.

There are times we care to know more the right or wrong person, than is it good or better to marry. I may not be the right person for you, but GOD chose us to better get married. His thoughts are not our thoughts, His ways are not our ways. He has purpose. For example. Was Batsheba the right woman for David? I don't think so, but just because God had a purpose for David and David in return the consequence of his sin, he allowed it to happen for them to be together to bring glory to God and for people to learn about the gruesomeness of sin. So better ask, is it good for you to marry, or better to stay single? Life is so valuable that you just cannot leave that to a chance or a sign from above. Take responsibility, it's your life.
