I've often thought that there should be a "good night" thread on CC. Therefore, in my sleepiness, I'm starting one.


Good night CC. Good night people who have made a difference in my life. I've told some of you that you're my favorites... so good night to you. If you'd like to believe you're one of my favorites, then that's fine too. Good night.

I just woke up..I had my hour & a half for the night it looks like,but good night to whomever,those of you that like me & yet to tell me so (NOT) and those of you who tolerate me. Happy snoozing. I will keep you in my thoughts as I long to sleep in a blissful state such as ya'll.

Arwen beat me to it!!!

I have a copy of the book "Goodnight Moon" in my office... (My Mom used to read it as our bedtime story and my brother and I used to pore every page looking for the little mouse.)

See that's why I communicate in grunts and unintelligible noises. :p Mostly because I almost literally cannot speak when I first wake up, but it's also a good excuse to tell people don't talk to me I'm grumpy. lol

My mom has this running thing where when I wake up and come downstairs from my room, she'll look at me and say "She's aliiiive!!" If it's when I work early in the morning and she tells me that, it's usually met with a "mhhumph", to which she laughs and says "Maybe not." :p

I always think of the Von Trapp children singing goodbye in The Sound of Music!

lol! Same here I'm between a "mumph" and an "ugh." But I barely open my mouth when I do it so that's why XD

and wow I log onto CC to see I had 5 new different likes XD haha!!

And I'm about to go to bed again. Too many hours this week already, and I agreed to work out of town on Thursday. I'm not really sure why. Oh well. Lailah Tov. Which in Hebrew means, good night.

It's almost bed time. I'm putting off all of the things I have to do before I go to bed, because...it's a lot of stuff to do before going to bed.

I have to finish watching this episode of Criminal Minds (which I am not putting off, actually)
I have to wash/prepare several bottles so I don't have to fumble around all sleepy and stupid in the middle of the night to feed the babeh.
I have to set up the coffee pot so I have fresh coffee first thing when I get up, because I cannot operate heavy machinery before noon.
I have to brush my teeth.
I have to make the bed (I could do that at a reasonable hour...huh. I'll try that tomorrow).
I have to make sure Princess Zelda is not hiding under my bed.
I have to turn on a heater.
I have to feed a baby.

And then I'll fall asleep and maybe remember to start all this earlier tomorrow.

Goodnight!

I was wondering that myself. I have woken up and am having trouble going back to sleep. Insomnia sure is fun! I envy those that can sleep through the night.

I don't know why this is,because I don't long for children ...but something about your post was comforting in a way. I can't really explain it. I mean it was of course witty & made me laugh as always with yer babeh pronunciation & Zelda hiding under the bed...and of course the messy bed all unmaid. Maybe because it had some sort of sense of purpose? I dunno...lol nevermind me..I need to head over to stream of consciousness & thoughts thread me thinks! Yo-Yo-peace out G!
