Something that came to mind while reading through this thread is the way encouraging words from men that I know and respect have impacted me.
I've been blessed to have many wonderful girl friends in my life that have encouraged me, believed in me, prayed for me, supported me, loved me 'in spite of' and so much more. They have been blessings to me and have spoken truth into my life.
When it's a man that does these things, I am ministered to in a different way. I suppose that has a lot to do with things in my past.
It's just...well, like I said ...different.
I'm thankful for the men in my life that remind me of who I am in Christ and how they see Him working in and through me. :)
