Just know hunnys I been there I was in a relationship for 5 years and I found out
During that he was cheating on me with one of my close friends
After that happened I wanted to to hurt myself but my parents told me not to hurt
Myself or hold a grudge against them I had to wait a while til I was ready to forgive him because
I had alot of hatred but I learned it better to forigove then to hate and accept things
Happen for a reason and now I have one love an that's my daddy king God I'm his little girl
He always watched over me

That was good advice that your parents gave you and you did the right thing by being patient and finding the strength to forgive. Not many people can do that. God bless you.
