You cannot change what has happen in the past. That's a historical fact.

Can't change the past but you are given a new chance everyday to do better.

Today, when you hear His voice harden not your heart, while it is still called Today. Yes, God doesn't keep score, everyday He wipes the slate clean.

Beg God to give you time travel powers.

Or just wait until scientists invent the time machine.

The trick is to realize you can't change the past and move forward

I am 2050 Susanna, and I have time travelled here to offer 2017 Susanna some wise advice, but she is not listening.

The same thing happened when 2017 Susanna time travelled to give 1996 Susanna advice...and a scolding...LOL.

There's a difference between wanting to change the past because of regret versus changing it to right wrongs.

If formal, then embrace it as part of you - after all, we are who we are, a better version, because of past regrets.
If latter, then do whatever it needs to be done to make it right - and you probably know what that is.

Paul wrote in Phillipians 3:13-14...

But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

I assume you're talking about fixing things we have done wrong.

Sometimes we correct the past by apologizing.

Sometimes there's nothing we can do to change the final, direct outcome of our actions. In these instances, to use the experience for good, we must warn others not to follow the same path, acknowledging that we made a mistake. An example would be when speakers tell teenagers the horror that unfolded the day they drove after drinking.

Sometimes going really far in the other direction helps make us a good in-person example of why it's important to make a good decision. If one is firm about not texting while at the dinner table and explains with a quick sentence or two that he or she once lost a healthy relationship because the texting was making the other person feel so neglected that the friendship dissolved, the words may fall on listening ears. Posting things of such an ilk here are also useful, I've used some of the stories I read as examples to help others.

Regardless of method of "righting wrongs", we must first ask Jesus to send us guidance from the Holy Spirit, and ask Him to help us not to sin again. Also that He will please help us to understand every single lesson He wants us to get from the experience.

I quote: "Pain never leaves the world, Harry. It may be blunted by time, or one person may share it with another, but once something has been done, it can never be undone. When you have committed a sin, or a sin has been committed against you, the pain of that sin remains, a scar on your heart. And it is just as real and just as ugly as a scar on your face."

How can we right wrongs?
As Peter said, Stand In God's True Grace!!! :)

If you can right a wrong, do so.

If you stole, give it back adding extra because of the trouble you caused.

If you borrowed something from someone and broke it, then repair it or buy another to replace it and let them know what happened. In the past when my husband has borrowed someone's tool, he cleans it up and refuels it if it's powered by gas. The tool looks better than the condition he borrowed it in.

If you have done something you can't give back, apologize, tell them how sorry you are for what you've done and ask for their forgiveness and begin afresh.

Learning and growing from things we've done in our past is a good way to not repeat the same behavior. Allowing the Lord to transform us and renew our mind is absolutely heavenly. Because if it's something we can't change, it's something miraculous from God as we walk in the new creation we are in Christ. We learn to bind up broken hearts and heals wounds of our past through Him.

A soft, kind word works wonders and can melt a heart. God says a kind word turns away wrath. I think we need to practice some kindness towards others.

Another thought to end with is that how many times do we go to God's word and read it. And then we leave what we've just read and don't apply what we've been taught from God. Applying God's truths to our life and practicing His word is walking in the Spirit of God. And how holy and wonderful that is. We become the aroma of Christ when we do so! :)

I don't think God will ever allow that to be invented, because you just know some well-meaning idiot will try to go back in time and stop the crucifixion.

It is I feel maybe I'm oversensitive to feelings. As I find it difficult to find friends in that I tend to be someone who prefers to keep a peaceful life away from too many people. It is not that I dont like people. It is I find it not easy to cope with too many sometimes! For me a crowded room is a nightmare. Going to school daily was torture! I'm so glad I live in a place where I only see a few people normally unless I head out to a nearby town or village. At the same time I prefer not to be alone. Also I find as I sometimes get face blindness it does not help as I can lose friends quick when they say hello and I dont have a clue who they are! :D Worse still I've talked to others thinking I know them when I dont!
One thing that I tend to do is only use a few internet sites or only keep to a couple of interests. General knowledge is not my thing at all, but in the areas of my interest I tend to go deep into. On the internet, for example, I have found about six main sites I look at but I rarely go beyond these, and find I just can't think of a subject outside these areas I already look at which a site covers what I like. I'm beginning to think this is not normal as my brother says there are thousands of sites on the internet!
Anyway. Before I give my life's story which I'm sure no one has time to hear, let alone me having time to write......

All is OK really. Just having a moan! :p
