Trying to be something you're not is exhausting.. why wear a mask? if a conversation gives opportunity to speak , I engage.. If it doesn't , I listen.. If I find it funny, I laugh.. If I want to be quiet , I'm quiet. I appreciate genuine personalities.. There are different seasons in life.. And thankfully God brings companionship in them.

Being involved in a ministry like CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) you get to be active in your social life. - going where bikers are, making friends with them, building a foundation on which you can lead him to Christ.
there is always a bike social happening. And if not a CMA gathering. its actually so awesome, my ministry is my social life.
But at home i like being the quiet one.

Hmmm......I'm much more social now that I've had a job/life change and the opportunity to be social. Before, it was more just because I had a little baby and I worked for a special needs little boy and was always on call in case of an emergency that I never had much social interaction. Believe it or not, it's tough being friends with a mommy when you're not even married, especially if you aren't used to the whole kid thing. haha But these days I just force people into friendships with me because I like them and I enjoy spending time with people, building relationships and talking about God. I don't really crave "me" time because it's been so long since that's even been an option. I enjoy having other people around. ^_^

I am definitely social! I have no problem going up to anyone and talking to them. It is hard to believe I am social being as I rarely have any time to go anywhere to socialize. I am the woman in a room who will go up to the person I see that no one is talking to since they are too shy to approach anyone else.

Your not the only one. If I just want to think, "it's automatically, is there something wrong with you?" And the funny thing is, when I'm around strange people (And I don't mean strange as in crazy either. Just strange as in, I don't know you.), I rarely talk. Only when I'm comfortable do I talk.

As for the poll, I put neutral, but really I'm probably a mix of neutral and the one below. I'm pretty much a home body, and prefer to be left alone quite a bit. But at the same time, I do need social interaction, just so I don't go further into the deep end.

God's changed me sooooooooooo much, I used to be so quiet and shy, but I've found myself opening up.
As a non Christian I went to a therapist and said I don't know who I am, I know it's not who I am now for sure, I feel trapped.
And I'm seeing more and more of who God made me to be, I do still enjoy some time alone..........and I don't always have loads to say, but well, what I'm trying to say is......... hallelujah

Yesteday some girl looked at me and said.''Hey, how you doin? You remember me?'' I had no idea who she was, I just stood there and talked to her cause she was cute. Im like ''So where you workin now, how you beeen?''
