i fall in love way too easily

tis the curse of the lonely. i have quite a penchant to get attached.
anyone else find themselves falling in love with people they don't mean to fall for?

I keep my heart at a distance. I may lead myself for a while or others may lead me on, but I'll never arrive at the point of no return unless I think I've found a suitable woman. Eventually they give up in exasperation. Works like a charm. But my biggest gripe about being lonely is that many women don't give internet friendships a chance. So it's hard to get to know them unless you move to where they live. And if I did such a thing they'd just call me a creep and run. Not that I've tried... >_>

i know what you mean. the point of no return is an excellent way to word that. and i agree. but i am able to dance the dance for a while before the point of no return. and i do. it's a pattern i am very familiar with.
and yeah. internet friendships i am cool with. but internet relationships? i don't wanna do it. it seems like a lot of heartbreak for no reason. i'd much rather get to know someone in person. besides. i really need the physical interaction

The problem is, I feel, that women who have strangers talking to them out of the blue take it to mean something sinister or threatening or creepy. So either an internet friendship happens by chance or it doesn't happen. And if it doesn't happen, then nothing greater can happen either. But, yes, you're a rare breed of open-minded woman. And your friendship is appreciated.
