I feel like God has abandoned me

he got abrupt with me, so I had to tell him to stop. and he has, so he actually answered one of my questions, hehe but yeh Let god deal with those people and pray for them, hopefully they see sense how childish they are and not so clever being stupid like this., and plus I reported him, so the mods are aware of his actions, hence probably why he is not around.

true, Again they are not clever, the admin has tools to track them and there usernames, so they will be dealt with soon,

If someone is trolling, please use the report button on the offending post to report them otherwise the mods might never know what's going on.

The button is on the lower left of each post. It's the triangular one with the exclamation point (!) in it. :)

Your walk with the Lord is not based on "feelings" it is based on faith which is fed by the Word of God, Heb 13v5 states: "For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Read and mediatate upon faith building promises from the Scriptures and get your (close) Christian friends to support you in prayer, also go along to fellowship meetings where you can feel God's Presence (if you can't feel His Presence in a meeting then simply leave and find one where you can feel His Presence), also get fellowship with MATURE LOVING Christians!

You are in good company. There was a time, not to long ago, that I felt the same way about our Father. I just longed to hear Him, wanted to know why He had turned away from me. I believed in Him, I believed in His Son. He had taught me so much. He had given me an understanding of His word that simply put was out of this world. And yet with all this understanding and knowledge that He gave me I felt he had turned his back on me and left me alone. So longing for the comfort I knew He provided I turned to scriptures. Psalms, because a lot of people get comfort from some of the verses. As I started to read, waiting for some comfort, I realized that it was not just me that felt God had abandoned them but David did also. "O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord - how long? Return, O Lord, deliver me!" David also felt as if our Father had left him, a terrible feeling, and cried out to Him. This let me know that I was in good company. I had to trust what Jesus said that He will never leave us. He is always with us. That feeling of abandonment I felt was just that... a feeling... a worldly thing... and we are not of this world. They love you so very, very, much.

God never abandons us. Please don't feel that way. Talk to us on here and we will help you! :) This website has helped me become more comfortable with myself and to make friends. Most importantly, it has helped me develop a stronger faith in Christ that I didn't have before.
I hope you can get similar results on here. Read the word, pray and listen to God. Talk to him and know that he is ever present in your life. I hope you can hear him and not feel abandoned but accepted and loved. God bless you!

Just to let you know good sister, that the OP has been banned for causing a nuisance in forum, He has no real interest in knowing what people think or what they write. But pray for him, and hope that he see sense and see how childish he was and come to his senses and really seek God for real.

The Op is banned, if you wish to waste time posting to this thread then thats up to you, I am not sure if a banned person can still read posts, but even if he could, I dont think any of our comments or replies will be of interest to him, as he came in to disrupt and cause trouble and to troll the threads. Sadly this thing goes on all the time, and all we can do is pray for them, and hope they will see sense of there childish bevaviour.
to be honest I think a thread should be closed once a person has been banned. but thats me.

Even if the OP is banned, many others still read and participate in the thread. That's the thing about forums. One person starts it, but many others take part. It's not like one bad thread-apple ruins the whole barrel.
