To OP: I've seen you mention a few times how 'obvious' your message was, despite that the majority of people not understanding what you were saying. I was honestly not sure until you posted on the second page when you stated clearly and plainly that you were struggling and seeking help. Nothing in any of your previous posts actually stated that.
And while you feel your post was 'obvious' to understand, despite most Not understanding, you have failed to understand how 'obvious' it was that people had no idea what you were getting at until you stated it directly.

Making a controversial looking title just to get attention won't get you positive attention or help. It will cause you to look questionable in everyone's eyes as someone who is only here to instigate. And because of that people will be reluctant to offer you anything helpful or positive. And arguing with people about your approach and insisting that you are right only reinforces peoples doubts about you. People who truly want help don't make jokes or controversy. They don't argue. They listen.
Actually, in many of our therapy groups, the guys truly do begin by trying to make light of this serious subject. (It's akin to nervous laughter when we are embarrassed about a subject.)

Promoting baseball is a great way to help direct people away from porn.

Okay, just kidding, but once he stated he had a problem he disappeared. So baseball it is.

Maybe he left because of the way he was being treated...He needs help not a discussion on baseball or what others like.
How would you feel if you asked for help with a serious problem you were facing and people didn't take it seriously?
If you don't think the OP is serious, let the thread go.

I agree completely with Kodiak. The original poster may have used all caps in his subject as a cry for help rather than trolling because he immediately follows with Romans 7:15. I do believe that this is a serious problem, given how easy it is to access porn these days. Recently, Terry Crews talks about this dirty little secret that he has struggled with as well. Pray that his insight helps us all understand more about this addiction.

It is not what you say but how you say it that makes a difference.

The best thing anyone can do is pray.

Only God knows what is in the OP's heart.

My words in post #38 are pretty evident. He has since been MIA.

And on another note, if I needed help regarding porn, I wouldn't create a thread with such shock value.

That makes sense to me. There's a lot of shame associated with any addiction. And if it's related to sex, then there's a lot of outside judgement that is garnered for it as well.

Yes, and that was great of you to do....but that still doesn't dismiss my point. I have seen weirder though....just because we wouldn't do that, doesn't mean others wont.

I agree with Utah. And the OP just sounded troll-ish to me. It just sounded as if he was coming in just to get a rise out of us, you know to see if we're what we claim to be.

Perhaps though, what I should have said was, "Do you need help?"

Makes me think of Proverbs 18:13: "He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him".
