Sorry if someone's already mentioned this, but I remember the handful of movies I saw in the theaters while I was growing up...

And all they had were those "oil bubble" images floating annoyingly across the screen for 20 minutes before the movie started.

On the flipside, I also remember when there wasn't a zillion ads or previews, nor were there any beeps, lights, and ring tones going off from anyone's phone.

Oh yeah. And I remember when phones had cords and were plugged into the wall, and you only paid for outgoing service, and not when someone called you (unless it was collect.)

I remember when a user named NukePooch took my then-selfie avatar picture, photoshopped my face next to that of some 75-year-old man, then posted it and made some smarty-pants caption about "Seoulsearch and Her Latest Boyfriend."

I think I had to crawl across 4 different threads to choke him (NukePooch, that is, not the supposed elderly date.)

I remember the days when I could actually get away with threatening someone in the forum.

(Hopefully people realize this is a joke. Back in the day, we all used to riff off each others' posts, and it was a ton of fun. Nuke and I just happened to frequently choose each other as easy targets. Well... somehow he made me out to be the easier target, as you can see. )

Of course, in my old age, I don't even remember what I ate yesterday...

I think I must have felt really sorry for making fun of you dating all those elderly, decrepit, ancient pensioners. Yeah, I must have felt sorry.

I remember when most stores were closed on Sunday's and never open on holiday's. That should have never changed. Maybe a Sunday once or twice a month but no one needs to shop on a holiday.
