If I ever try wine, I'd like to have it with an old friend I promised I'll share my first wine with ever.

Don't bother, brother. He's probably Jack.
Lol. I don't know why, Tintin, but your post brought to mind the movie, The Warriors, where David Patrick Kelly is clicking beer bottles together saying, "Warriors, come out to plaaaaaaayyy . . ."

I am rethinking all my post on drinking, not all men have knowledge of our liberty in Christ. So, I am thinking what Christians without that knowledge are thinking about me and if I have caused harm are caused any to stumble then I am a debtor to them and to Christ.
You're a good man, PT, and a wonderful brother in Christ. You've done absolutely no harm to anyone with what you've shared. You're an inspiration to many people here and I speak on their behalf when I say, thank you for being a beacon of Light. God bless you. :)

Id like to meet up and have a drink with Walid Shoebat, and talk about the bible. I really enjoy listening to his insights to the bible alot, I would like to actually have the chance to meet with him personally and talk about things.

One of my favorite things to do is to talk about God and the bible, so meeting with people that are so "on fire for the Lord" is always alot of fun.

I play music and enjoy music, but I mostly listen to secular music, and while my favorite artist are all way talented musically, I dont agree with about 99.9% of whatever it is they preach.

I like bass guitar the most, and I definitely have a favorite. The bassist of the band Pinback is way talented and amazing, and knows how to make the bass guitar "pretty", and make people who cant tell a guitar and bass guitar apart from another into real fans :p Id love to meet with him and talk about bass guitar, and get a few pointers from him, definitely.

He is totally a secular-humanist kind of person, though. So Id want to keep our discussion to bass guitar alone :/

I cant really think of many people that are famous that Id like to meet with, honestly. But I do know people online that Id love to meet. There are even a few people here that I think would be way cool to meet. Im not gonna say names, though :p But yeah, there are a few.

It's not me, I'm not the treasure, the treasure is Christ. Nevertheless, thank you, Utah, that encourages me so much. :)

I forgot to mention Lindsey Stirling. She's amazing and very down-to-earth. But it couldn't be a beer, because she's a Mormon. :( She should be a Christian, that would make it so much easier. And then we really could share a beer or glass of wine.

I'd also like a chat with Anne Cath Vestly and Astrid Lindgren (both authors) , but I don't know if either of them drank beer :p

I would like to sit down and have any kind of drink with anybody who doesn't make dirty jokes. They were making jokes about sex all day at work. I finally get away from that, come home and catch up on the forum... and in a certain other thread people are cracking dirty jokes here too. Ugh.

Thank you Lord for a Grandma. At least I can talk to her without hearing sex jokes.

Seriously, anyone here, there or anywhere. We'll meet wherever you want, you can drink whatever you like, I just need to sit and talk to somebody normal for a change. Someone who won't say "That's what SHE said!" every other line.

Okay, I feel better now. Just needed to get that out of my system. But I would still like to have a (insert beverage of choice) with a normal person.

Some Old Testament peeps I'd like to share a drink with - having a Jack n Ginger with Melchizadek...and Deborah strikes me as a gal who can use a "fun" drink. Maybe a Fuzzy Navel.
Melchizadek would be my absolute first choice as well. I would buy him as many as he wants but once he took the first sip I would be like "Ok, it is killing.....please tell me more about this priesthood of yours". Even Jesus's priesthood is after this mans order. This is a huge, wat is this? I don't even.....

And Lol, I gotta disagree with Deborah being a fuzzy navel girl. She was more of a man than her husband. How about we give him the fuzzy navel and lets get her something a little stronger? Deborah strikes me as a certified whisky shooter.

This old man and me were at the bar and we
Were havin' us some beers and swappin' I don't cares
Talkin' politics, blonde and red head chicks
Old dogs and new tricks and habits we ain't kicked

We talked about God's grace and all the hell we raised
Then I heard the ol' man say
God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

He said I fought two wars, been married and divorced
What brings you to Ohio? He said damned if I know
We talked an hour or two about every girl we knew
What all we put 'em through like two old boys will do

We pondered life an death, he lit a cigarette
He said these damn things will kill me yet
But God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

Last call it's 2 a.m., I said goodbye to him, I never talked to him again
Then one sunny day, I saw the old mans face
Front page obituary, he was a millionaire
He left his fortune to some guy he barely knew
His kids were mad as hell, but me I am doing well

And I dropped by today to just say thanks and pray
And I left a six pack right there on his grave
And I said God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

God is great, beer is good and people are crazy
God is great, beer is good and people are crazy

Lets get real here guys. Any conceivable song about alcohol is already a country song :p. Good thing Islam completely prohibits alcohol, otherwise we would even have country songs about being drunk on the backporch, trying to remember which way mecca is and falling off at bow time :p

P.S. Weird Al, if by any chance you are a secret CC lurker. This NEEDS to happen

Brings to mind Toby Keith's song, Weed With Willie. Lol.
The lyrics are meaningful, though. It's not about getting drunk. It's about sitting with Him one on one, and asking Him why He died for a sinner like me.
