Walking up and just saying "hi" to a girl,..... has always proven to be an effective first tactic in 'meeting' Christian singles, .....for me at least?
Sadly,.... it's all of the proceeding words that fall out of my mouth after the initial "hi", that keeps me in that constant "meeting" phase of life. Never mind. I have no true wisdom on the subject here......I will keep you posted.

I LOVE meeting new girls who are radical 4-JESUS! and 2be honest any person young/old single/married the way Jesus has shown me is were all king's kids...amen!
After I was medically discharged from the U.S.MARINE CORPS I had a lot of transitioning 2do..
Im not into the bar scene but its 1of my second job's doing security as a door man/bouncer. I would however like to got out of it but it helps with extra $ I need and its all tip-money plus a small salary. YOU see some pretty KRAY KRAY stuff their at the night club by at least there not priming RPG'S at my employees an patrons whom im their to protect!
I have had some special moments 2share the LORD JESUS and lead others to salvation! what a privilege we have 2share the GOSPEL...
IVE dated a few young ladies from young adults group here an there but, just no chemistry I quess? most likely it wuz just me an not them...lol haha!

Brother, I have to tell you this. When I read you were a youth minister, I had these two thoughts come directly to me.
1) Be bold and confident, in the Lord.
2) The next three women you see of your age walk up to each of them and say, "Hi. My name is ______. Do your know Jesus as your Savior?"
Now...I'm just telling you what came to me. I don't know what the results would be. I felt compelled to tell you, and I have. Now you can do with it what you will.

And besides, the ones you meet there are drunk. Can't imagine why. And it's no fun being sober with a drunk. The only way to have fun with a drunk person is to be drunk yourself, which I'm not gonna.
I'm reminded of a scene from a book I read. A woman meets two friends at a bar, orders three drinks and promptly downs them all. Her friends ask if maybe she's drinking a bit too fast. She replies, "You two have been here half an hour. It's no fun being the only sober person at the table. I got some catching up to do."

Maybe them older Christian folk at your current church have young'ns that are ripe for the proverbial plucking.

I personally think people who are unwilling to give online dating a try are too focused on the physical. What's better than to get to know that other person? With long distance you're able to get to know that person better by actually TALKING rather just going on dates. Relationships are more stable and substanital if you are able to connect with that other person on a personal level, something you both understand/have or are going through. Overcoming a challenge together can help bring two souls the deepest level of love and appreciation and gratitude and humbleness. That is what happened to my folks and my eldest brother. They met their spouse as a friend and shared a struggle and helped the other fight through it and they are by far the strongest relationships i have ever witnessed. Another note. Most often when you are looking to meet someone you already have but don't realize that you did. Until it's too late/you lost that person. i lost two great men that way.

I know I keep saying this but....
Go dancing! - folk dancing, ballroom dancing, swing dancing. The ladies love to dance.
At last night’s dance we all had a good laugh. We had run out of men and there were still lots of ladies who wanted to dance, then some poor unsuspecting fellow just happened to walk into the room, he was immediately swarmed by ladies. The scene was priceless, as he flattened himself against the door with an expression of pure bewilderment.

Oh no, m'lady, that's the beauty of it--I turn out just fine... but unfortunately, my victim... er... I mean, potential date... might wind up feeling a little groggy.
I can assure any potential prey, er, once again, I mean, potentially highly respected dates out there, that it wouldn't last that long (only 8 hours or so) and the slight discomfort would be well worth it! (After all, you'd wake up in a clean, organized woman cave.)
And if only it wasn't so hard to convince you to go out with me in the first place, I wouldn't have to resort to such dramatic (albeit, somewhat fun) measures.
