Yes, though I do not consider Lewis a celebrity.
It would be Lewis, Tolkien and I in a old study or lounge in England drinking brandy, and discussing everything near a warm fire in the dead of winter (hope i would have something intelligent to say.... lol)

I would probably just bombard them both with questions the whole time and demand more books....lol. I don't think I could compete with either of them intellectually.

Ok the real reason I asked this question is because I just heard some people talking on the radio about Justin Beiber who apparently made this video of himself and they were talking about how he lets his friends drive his fancy expensive cars. I'm not saying I want to be his friend, I was just thinking about how cool it might be to be friends with a celebrity.

Franz Liszt. That dude was a MAD ladykiller. He had the girls all screaming and fainting in the front row a solid CENTURY before The Beatles invaded the U.S. I'd roll in his entourage, make sure the bench was right where he wanted it before he went out, help pick up all the of the ladies' hankerchiefs from the stage. We'd chill in his four-horse limo, and I'd like, "Yo Fraaaanz! You straight-up KILLED it with the Don Juan Fantasy tonight! And that cadenza you improvised in the Two Polonaises?! Boss, you BLEW MY MIND. Where you wanna eat tonight, man? Hey, you see what Schumann wrote about you this month, man? Like, has he even heard your stuff for real? That guy is straight up CRAZY, you know, like they need to lock that dude up in a mental institution."

It would be just like the show Entourage. But I don't know what character I would be, because I've never seen the show Entourage.

Hold up, hold up. Granted, the punk's popularity does bear some resemblance to that of history's first rockstar. But when I wrote mine, I was in no way referencing Canada's foul spawn. What I was actually doing was writing a bunch of little inside jokes that probably only CatHerder will get.

And even funnier, it's all true.

Well the reason my ears perk up whenever he's mentioned in the news is because he lives less than an hour from me and probably drives the same freeways so I want to know what's happening in my own backyard.

Tom Hanks.

He seems to be the type of anti-celebrity celebrity...like I could just hang out at his house, with his family, while he throws brats on the grill and talks about his crabgrass problem.

I thought about it Zero and I can't think of anyone. I like some actors and actresses acting better than others but I don't feel like I could relate to anyone in a friendship way. I'm sure if I ever met a famous person and we became friends OK, but I don't know. I was thinking Liz Taylor because she seems so eccentric it might be fun. But I would have bored her I'm sure.
