I think I'd like to live out in the Alaskan frontier. I love being out in the middle of nature, especially if it's in an area where not many people have been so it's largely untouched. Plenty of woods to explore, many animals to see, and not to mention all the snow and being able to see the northern lights a lot. Sounds like my kind of place!

Hmmm this is hard for me. I actually don't quite know where I belong, so I've been traveling a ton in search of "home." I love Montana. It's beautiful, and busy, and void of too many people, which fits my personality beautifully. However, at times I miss the culture and diversity of more populated areas.
!
You got it made in Montana less people is a good thing, you don't have to deal with the garbage that we do.

There is a lush, wonderful valley in Oregon called the Alsea. It starts in a little town about 48 miles inland from Waldport and follows the Alsea river to Waldport on the coast. I always wanted to live there.

Montana is wonderful! Children who grow up there usually become adults who think independently, they aren't only TV bred. Nothing seems to hem you in, even the sky is bigger.

Why I loved living in Scotland (for about 2 months):

PHTO0064_2.JPG

This was the view out my window at the place I stayed and town was a 10 minute walk through the glen (i.e. the woods along the creek). Pretty much the perfect combo of nature and not being too far removed from the conveniences of civilization.

Costa Rica or the south if France.

More realistically, Oregon, which wouldn't work for health care.

So I would settle for beautiful British Columbia, which is where we are moving when we sell our house.

Never Alberta after the heavy snowfall in Calgary yesterday, and a killing frost today.

What a pleasant surprise it is where I want you to be too... And we could summer in Colorado it's really nice out there and have foreign homes in Scotland and Ireland, with a chalet in Switzerland plus a little get away in Sweden. Oh and lets not forget the Mansion in Heaven....

I am still shook over my two weeks with a granddaughter living in Singapore, anyone from there? It was so different from the US that it took a different way of thinking. There was no dishwasher, even, in the kitchen of the $8,000 a month apartment, but a maid was hired so reasonable no one minded and the maid didn't care!!! I have never been able to figure all that out! but it was fun there.
