ohh well in my town there are a lot of single college ppl who are really desperate to not be single...so they start dating the first girl/guy who looks their way. yah...not cool. i'm not THAT worried about being single just to date some person whose name i dont know.
Yeah i don't think i'll ever get to that point to just date someone for the sake on not being single, never saw a point in it

well i lived in jersey and was in the military, and when i got out of the military i did not want to stay in jersey because i really didn't like that place, if you ever go there for more then a month you'll understand, most of my family had moved down to TN so i figured i would move there, don't get me wrong i love it here and have great friends here, but its all married ppl, basically i moved here for family

oh okay! that makes sense then. i'm from ohio. i moved to TN for college and because i hated Ohio. i also love Tennessee as a whole!! everyone here is so much more laid back and friendly then the northern states. but i dont like this town....250 churches in a city of about 40,000. that's too many...i'm not learning anything in church cause the people just want my tithe and membership...they don't care i want to learn about God. but anyhoo i'm ready to move again. just kinda waiting to see if that's in God's plan....

that might be what i'm looking for then. right now i go to two churches: one for service, one for group things. neither are really hitting the spot. for a little while i felt like i was drifting because...churches are just so involved in worldly things now! and even more than that...they are all talk and no walk. that makes me angry too. oyy. thanks tho! i forgot about the house church element of this.

its what a lot of people are looking for, with house churches its basically a community, you become good friends with everyone who goes there, which i love because at church i would know maybe one or two people and no one would really make an attempt to get to know you, and if you had a question or something that was on your mind you couldn't ever bring it up in service, at house churches everyones involved, you can ask questions about what someones speaking about or bring up something God's laid on your heart. You build amazing relationships. And they do more for outreach then i see most churches doing. And when the group gets big it spilts into another house church so it will stay personal and not get to the point were they only want to see how many people they can get in the church. We also just started a group for young adults which has been really good for the 20 something people that have been hurt by the church or just weren't getting fed there

1 Cor. 14:26 What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.

To me its seems like that was the way the church was supposed to be, with everyone interacting

You would be suprised how many of them are out there, but they can be hard to find, most of the time they're very low profile http://www.hccentral.com/ you might be able to find one on there but ask around someone probably goes to one, thats how i found mine
