So I was talking to my dad once about The Bible and he told me a joke he heard that uses the Bible. I don't know if its disrespectful to do this but from what I understand its something that could actually happen so here goes:
Basically this guy and this girl were best friends. He liked her more than a friend but she didn't like him more so. Time passes she moves away and he misses her. He receives letter of invitation to her wedding and out of a soreness for his old feelings he decides not to go and simply sends a card along with a Bible verse. It ends up doing more harm then good: His intent was to send 1 John 4:18... please look it up and read it
its a very nice verse for a new beginning. He ended up sending John 4:18
Hehe I don't know where my dad heard it but its an interesting mix up whether it was true or not or merely an interesting coincidence. Let me know what you think, is it ok to share it?
