I figured to bring this thread back. I have always wondered why do guys refuse to ask for directions?
I have no problem asking for directions. I'm happy to hand over the navigational duties to someone else. Most people are probably more competent than me in this arena. It doesn't hurt my ego.

Same here. For a guy who is "directionally-challenged", I'm always in need of a navigator. I use the GPS but, given the chance, it would be nice if someone could do that for me. I admit that I rarely ask for navigations because I have learnt from experience that the GPS is more reliable than road-side directions.

I've learnt from experience that the GPS sometimes likes to trick me by keeping me on my toes.

GPS: "Turn left here."

*Turns left*

GPS: "Not yet, later on you, idiot!"

But you said.

GPS: "Shut it!"

I have a love/hate relationship with my GPS. I love to hate it.

I wish my GPS could actually say aloud what it is thinking. It would be funny... and scary.

I've always wondered... They say men think about women more than women think about men. Somewhere there was a study that said men think like a thousand thoughts about women a day or something. I'm not going to break the men down and say that's impossible because we don't even think that many thoughts in a day, ahh crap. Anyhow, I wonder how often women are preoccupied with men. I think the genders are equal!

The number of times men think about their cars, sports and food is much greater than the number of times women think about men.

I think men certainly think about sex a lot more than women do. Sure women think about men a lot but not always in the same way men think about women lol...women don't think about old men though but young ones haha.

I doubt men think about the woman that chew them out all day long!....Aww...man! Somebody get my memory out of a typical day at the Walmart! Phew...sheesh!

For real! I think about food a lot. Especially right now because I haven't had breakfast yet. Cars I think about when mine breaks down... not into sports... and I don't even have a woman to think about. But I think about food a lot.

Breakfast time, brb.

Actually I ate two pickled eggs and peanut butter on bread. The eggs were ones I pickled myself, the peanut butter was all natural (not like Jif "all natural" which is not really, this all natural is just peanuts and salt) and the bread was my whole wheat sourdough bread. A very good breakfast.

I've always wondered why some people settle for fake food when they could have something better. I can see being in a hurry and grabbing something fast, but so many CAN eat real food but they put convenience above digestion.

Well I can't speak for all people. But in the life of a college student who tries to :learn german, wrestle with behavior problems in children psychology where the content brings you down, philosophy which involves gratuitous amounts of reading, while being involved in 3 separate ministries while also trying to take time to be intimate with Jesus, trying to find ways to serve, to practice and develop skill at playing piano and guitar, and having a social life open to minister anytime someone needs to talk, it takes me to Scripture where Jesus says stop fretting about what you eat but rather worry about what comes from the inside out. I guess the simple.
Tl;Dr version is I want to be more concerned with a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus. He's going to take me home when He wants anyway, as Scripture tells us that worrying cannot add any time to our lives.

I guess my question to the young women here would be how can a young man distinguish between the lines of flirting and being nice/polite? I've been lead on in the past for not reading these signs and vice versa, so actually hashing this out would be very enlightening for me. danke!

What sets us apart?

Do women ever feel all woman ?, does a woman ever have a sense or feeling of incredible femininity within herself?. Is there anything outside of yourself that makes you feel feminine?. When a woman contemplates God does she feel feminine in any way, or beautifully feminine in any way?. May any reply have a great level of decorum and propriety.

When i look at flowers i have a sense of femininity, when i look at rocks i feel masculine (lol). If i look at a natural scenery with a lush landscape dotted with beautiful flora with a mountainous backdrop i have a sense or feeling of both masculinity and femininity.

When i contemplate God's universe, the vast expanse, the solar system, the phenomenal power and energy, the incredible and mathematically designed and aligned planetry system i have this incredible sense/feeling solely of absolute masculinity within.

23andMe 23andYou, 46areWe :)
Research and understanding shows and tells that under normal circumstances (therefore without chromosomal abnormalities) human beings for example are made up of trillions of cells, in each of those cells are forty six chromosomes (23 pairs), we inherit 23 chromosomes from our biological mother and 23 from our biological father. Twenty two of these pairs are called autosomes, apparentley these 22 pairs look much the same in both males and females. The twenty third pair (23rd pair) are called the sex chromosomes, they differ between males and females. Females have two copies of the X Chromosome, males have one X and one Y chromosome.

One thing I've wondered for some time - why do I not see more women playing strings? I see a lot of bands with guys playing guitar while women do the vocals. If a woman is on an instrument it's usually a keyboard. Yes I know there are exceptions - lil_christian for one - but usually I see guys playing the guitar. Is this a modern stereotype or is there something about a guitar that women don't like?[/QUOTE]

I love the guitar and want to learn to play.. My sister leads worship in her sessions with her acoustic... But you have a point..I think honestly the only Christian female guitarists I've seen are in their own band or they are solo artists...
Our keyboard players are the male worship leader and the token female lol
Odd!!! Good observation... Though I would think no one has an answer for that lol

Women, when singing, they really moved the string of my heart (reason 1)

Reason two, could be they know how much they paid to get their nails arranged and painted but, in my personal case, I´m amased of the amount of female voices I like to hear singing (somethinh is moved deep in me) and I chose to avoid knowing about those women who sung (married, singles, ugly or not, it´s something marvelous I enjoy closing my eyes and opening my ears)
