Kids can be hilarious, so I've decided to post a video. If you're so inclined, post a video or tell a story about something funny a kid has said.

One of my most favorite things a kid has said that I can remember:

I was watching the kids for an event at church, and it started to rain and pour and even thunder. So what does everyone want to do? They want to watch it, of course!

And so, we pulled up the blinds, and stood around the window to watch. But, for a little while, we didn't hear a thing. Didn't see anything. So some of the kids were asking, "Where's the thunder? We don't hear any thunder!" and one of the kids pipe up, "That's because the thunder's loading!"

I had to giggle at that for sure. XD

I was watching my niece and nephew at one point. My nephew was VERY little. He was sitting on the couch when he started freaking out and crying holding his foot.
I asked him what was wrong and he said his foot was hurting really bad. He kept saying, "I don't know what is wrong. It hurts. It hurts."
I asked him some questions trying to determine if he had stubbed his toe or somehow hurt his foot when it dawned on me what was happening.
I told him, "It's OK, Isaac. It will go away. Your foot just fell asleep."
He looked at me puzzled for a moment, looked back at his foot, then back at me.
He then grabbed his ankle and pulled his foot all the way up to his face and screamed, "WAKE UP!"

True story. LOL

What a great thread!

One more I have time to share right now:

When my brother, sister, and I were kids we were watching out the windows of the car while driving through Cleveland on our way to see our grandparents.
My brother (the youngest) suddenly became VERY excited when he saw the Terminal Tower (at the time, the highest skyscraper in Cleveland).
He started shouting, "Dad! Look! Dad! Look!"
My dad said, "What son?"
My brother pointed and said, "Look!"
My dad replied, "Yes son. I see it!"
My brother then asked excitedly, "Is that the Entire State Building?!"
My dad began roaring in laughter and responded, "Yes son. The whole thing."

My mom tells the story about me when I was around 3. I apparently had gotten out of my car seat and was standing on the bench seat in the back. We drove by a Pizza Hut and I told her I wanted that for dinner. She told me that she didn't have the money for pizza, and I replied, "Write a check!"

The little 3 year old I watch during the week told me that she wanted a tail for her birthday. I told her I'd see what I can do.

I remember when I was about 8 years old, my mom took me to go get my hair cut. The hairdresser did one side of my hair, then asked "Is that a good length?" (obviously wanting to know if that was good or I wanted it shorter). I said, "Can you make it a little longer?"

Clearly, that's not how it works, and I just had to deal with the fact that it was a bit shorter than I wanted. :p

I was kinda watching my cousin's kid who's 2-ish and I was at my aunt's where they have a fish tank. So her and I were watching the fish, and I would if this fish or that was hers and she'd just say yes. lol and then I decided to ask if they had any names and of course, she said yes. So I asked what name this fish or that fish had. She would say something I wouldn't understand so I would just say stuff like, "Good name!" or "I like that name." or "That's a good name for a fish!"

This thread is bringing back a lot of good memories. Waiting around here at home longer than I thought I would be, so...

My brother was good for doing and saying so many random things. Here is another one about him...

He was in the basement where all of our toys were. My mom had company over and we were all in the living room just up the stairs from him while he was playing.

Suddenly we heard a commotion downstairs. It sounded like my brother was taking toys and throwing them hard against the floor. This was really unlike him so my mother said to her friend, "I really have no idea what he is doing down there."

After a few minutes of this, my mom called to him and asked what he was doing. He didn't answer but continued doing whatever it was that he was doing.

<SMASH>
<CRASH>
<WHAM>
<BAM>

Finally, we heard him stomping hard up the stairs to the room we were in. He stepped up into the room we were in with one final stomp, placed his hands on his hips, and proudly announced, "I killed an ant!"

Okay, time to tell on myself.

When I was 3, my mom wanted me to give her a kiss on the cheek so she pointed to her cheek and said, "Plant one here." and I said to her, "Plant what, Mommy? Garden?"

In this pic I was about 4 and I had just been given balloons for my birthday. To this day getting balloons as a gift is a big deal to me. If I remember the story right, I went to every single person and showed them the balloons saying, "Mommy bought them!" I hung onto them all night... even while opening my presents.
