I had tried dating when I was exactly your age .... didn't work....
you probably don't want to hear this, been there done that..... all I learned is:
-it's a good idea to read " I kissed Dating Goodbye" for teens. you don't want to give yourself away, emotionally or physically for a relationship that wont last
-Next kiss dating goodbye, for atleast the next five years....

Honey, you are 15. You think life is over with what's happened to you. You'll get better, you'll get stronger and protect your heart more. Don't be blinded by what your heart tells you. Think with your head. Listen to what God's wisdom is telling you. Let God guide you to your man, not you guide yourself.
I was your age once, and my first boyfriend treated me like dirt and I thought that was the way it was. Be glad the jerk is gone. It could effect your life in a lot of different ways if you had stayed with him.

sister be sure to keep this in mind. You should be led by someone who loves you,but not just any kind of love. Jesus said love each other as i have loved you.Someone to love you with a pure heart . To love you.. is to love your soul..A PERSON CANT LOVE YOU AND SIN AGAINST YOU. A good guy ( man of God), dont just look for it. He will give it to you as a gift.

When it's your time to fly you will know. I highly encourage you sister, because you stood your ground by not giving yourself to him, you will be greatly rewarded by Him who truly loves you. Look for the man who knows God and trusts God with his whole heart. Pick someone who can be your spiritual leader and friend.If you can't pray with him at any given point in time about anything that concerns you, then you have no business being with him at all because our lives are for God our loving Father, not ourselves. Also, it's better to wait for the right one than to be unsure about someone and take an unnecessary risk. Don't be desperate. If you're trying to fill a need, wonder to yourself if that need shouldn't or couldn't be filled with a closer relationship with Jesus first. If you want to know who is the best to pick just look to the Bible. Does he show the fruits of the Spirit? Joy, Love, Goodness, Gentleness, Kindness, Meekness, Longsuffering, Patience, Self-Control. We already know your last boyfriend didn't have self-control. What else didn't he have? Be proud of your accomplishment in Christ and move on with your new wisdom.
There's more to life than just dating. You should enjoy your youth and not just focus on boys. The more you keep doing it, the more you'll keep on getting hurt because real love takes time and patience to find it, it's not something you just stumble upon. I hope you're doing well and find other things to get your life busy with =).
