How much sleep do you get on a typical night? (a 2 hour range is fine, like 8-10 -yeahright!) Is it typically consecutive?

Uh...between 2 and 7 hours a night. Not even sort of consecutive.

Because babies and cats are mean.

On average 7-10 hours. I'm convinced sleeping is the greatest thing in the world.

When I was younger I could go all day without getting tired on only 2 hours of sleep. I was really into zen and martial arts and having a mind-over-matter attitude back then. Now if I skimp on sleep I not only will feel it but it will probably cause me to put on weight too :p Oh the humanity!

I sleep maybe 4-5 hours of sleep per night. Sleeping is definitely a luxury...

two years ago I needed a minimum of 6 hours of consecutive sleep to even be functional enough to operate a doorknob.

nowadays, it's way cool if I get 4 or 5 hours. lately it's been more of the 3-5 range, heavy on the 3's, and light on the consecutive-ness.

7-8 hours typically but I need more. I often wake up at least once during the night, so I'm not rested in the morning.

I take sleep serious. I have a memory foam topper on top of my mattress then a feather bed topper on top of that, then Egyptian cotton sheets and 300 TC pillow cases. My bed hugs me.

arwen, you shouldn't post such personal information about yourself... men will be proposing just to get into your bed, with or without you.

I don't even know what a memory foam topper and feather bed topper are or what 300TC pillow cases are. But they sound comfy. I have a medium-quality mattress and a chiropractic pillow.

Hah... the topic name reminded me of...

"Ain't nobody got time for that."

If you think that is great, check out the remix:

Too bad you can't change the topic of the thread... LOL.
Sleep? Ain't nobody got time for that.

HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS ALL THIS TIME?!?
Markum, your memes complete me.

seriously, folks, the KFOR.com Channel 4 is a local TV station here. This was in my own metropolitan area and I didn't even know she had her own remix.

I'm not a good neighbor.

Being as I am a woman who needs "beauty sleep", I SHOULD sleep for a full
24 hours, but needless to say I average about six if I am lucky.

...actually, now that I think about it, I saw her as a "celebrity spokesperson" in a TV ad for one of those "we buy ugly houses" companies. This vid may have Changed Her Life!
