INTERESTING. I recently did the same thing with Christianmingle.com and I am also noticing the same thing. What I wonder as I am noticing that they value honesty is whether or not they consider themselves to be truly honest or not.

Okay so I joined eHarmony a while back during a lonely phase, and I look through my matches every now and then to see what's up. I can't help by notice that literally 90% of the men I'm matched with lately have "honesty" listed in their profile as the one thing they most want in a woman. The first couple of times I saw it, I didn't think anything about it. But after that many people stressed that they needed honesty, I have to wonder...

Are honest women so hard to find these days? That seems like an answer someone would give if they'd had problems with dishonest women in the past, right? I dunno, I just found it a little strange.

Hmm - we are all scared to be known by the other person - i guess being lied to, when you try to be honest, is even more upsetting

Good thing God already knew Jason would blow it, and needed a Savior

Something about you cheering for honesty then looking at that silly looking avatar just made me laugh hahaha.
This is more what I'm actually like...I think I was giving the wrong impression with previous ones. lol :p That and I had a few too many marriage proposals. With this one I don't get any!

Seriously? Like in open chat? Or via PM?

I thought that was a myth, like a unicorn riding a bicycle or something.

As for honesty ranking as an important quality. I can't speak to why the guys might have picked that trait as one to emphasize, other than maybe Eharmony doesn't have a "loves Jesus more than any human being and lives as He instructed her to" category.

I'll know at some point, but for now, I'm happily not messing around with any dating websites. Not dating either, just taking some Jesus and me time.

I doubt that will stop the proposals. Maybe slow them down a bit, but stop? Naahh.

Oh yeah, it happens. I've spoken to many women on here who have had proposals from strangers, or talk to someone in PM for five minutes and the man declaring his love for her, all kinds of weird stuff. Its quite common for the women.

But for the guys, it's more subtle. They usually check to see if you sound like you have much money before declaring their love for you. That way you can move them to the US and they know you can afford it.
