Hello!
So recently I posted a thread "Am I A Love Repellant?" And I've been thinking on this a lot. 1.) I posted that late at night when I was OVERLY tired. 2.) The next morning I was shocked at how insecure it sounded.

truth is I'm totally fine with being single. It's not a disease and it's not the end of the world. I've noticed that when most teens hit a certain age they wonder why they've never had a boyfriend/girlfriend. If you're 13, that doesn't count. I'm talking about 16 and up.

It seems as though everyone judges you by how many relationships you've been in, or how many people have liked you in the past month. It's actually annoying. We're still young, you have so much time ahead of you, so enjoy your youth!

if God wanted you to be in a relationship right now, you'd be in one! So just relax and put your focus to something more important like school, your friends, and family.

If you're single right now, I promise you, you're NOT going to die! Scouts honor!:)

I've only ever had 2 real girlfriends, I didn't have my first one until I was 18. As much as I don't enjoy being single, I don't see the purpose of dating just for the sake of dating. Why invest time into a relationship without planning a future.

Yea, going through high school without a gf or bf when everyone else seems to have one (sometimes more than one) can be rough.

I will tell you though, that it goes in waves--at least it has for me.

The other day a co-worker in their 50's told a fellow co-worker in their 20's, "You're young!!! You have nothing to worry about and you have plenty of time!!!" This is one of my biggest pet peeves.

People told me that when my husband left at age 25, and here I still am--and 40 is just around the corner. I also knew a Christian man whose wife died tragically at age 28 and he never remarried (he is now in his 60's). People tell you stupid cliches when they don't know of anything else to say.

You may not physically die. But I can say from my own experience, and this is just me being honest, that even though I am a lifelong Christian... part of me, emotionally and spiritually, did die, and has never come back to life.

I think the end, has to do with a Bible verse that talks about that the old man is dead, but the new man is alive. I understood what she meant.
