Ok, so, I could put this in the Bible discussion forum but I'm choosing the singles forum, as this can go along with letting my notmydudes know more about the importance of our learning great patience IF we hope to EVER be perfect in God's will for the building our life story, including yes, marriage unto us given by God :)

And, OK, already, you are mydudes, I'm just partial to my ladies :D

But, here we go, patience is such a lonely word , guys, girls, often we want to hear it hardly ever heard. And, honestly, I am not going to break out in Billy Joel song, honest :D . But, yeah, patience IS huge in God's economy, it's huge in His Word, too. :)

I can hear lizzytheone saying about now, 'What does patience have to do with God's money?' :)

I'm kidding around with you, milady, you know that, and, so you know, 'God's economy' = God's way of things done :) But, yeah, all, let's talk about the honest Truth....
'It (God's Word, bible) is honest, you know. :) Specifically, let's look at the verses that talk about our trials as should being 'joy' because this 'testing' of our faith produces...'

Produces what, green? Doubt !

Ok, just kidding, as this 'testing' produces......

99 bottles of milk on the wall, 99 bottles of milk. Take one down, pass it around.....

Oh, ok, already, but can you all please just have a little patience while I get to the productive word? :D

Patience ! Our testing produces PATIENCE. :)

Now, everyone knows popular verses, in James, about what I justbspoke above about....
”My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” James 1: 2-3

Ok, already, so that leaves us hanging though, doesn't it, wanting to know more almost, no?

Patience is produced, but WHAT does 'patience' lead to would be nice to know, wouldn't it?

So, now we will go past those two tired, worn, everyone-knows-them verses to.....

....James 1:4, which is the explainer of all explainers WHY we suffer through trials with joy :)

James 1:4 says, ” But let patience have it's perfect work that you may be perfect incomplete lacking nothing.”

Isn't that beautiful to know, that the fruit of patience is being 'perfect and complete, lacking nothing ! :)

I hope this helps, I pray this, too, that myself and notmydudes (who are really mydudes :D ) to understand patience all the more for practicality of potential relationship needing us to have patience , as said in my 'patience of a saint' thread . We need patience for equally yoking ourselves to girls, I think, but, that can be my opinion but not my opinion, and this all knowledge in this thread is to show miladies that you got a headstart on becoming 'perfect' over me and notmydudes :)

Nods, talk to your dad about it, he will understand :)

But, in a summation, trials of testing (allowed by God of The Enemy or done by God to give us opportuntity to grow our faith) should be joyously embraced because it will lead to patience growth/production in us.

Then, the real reality of the importance of our being patient and persevering through testing brings us to a point of being in God's perfect willl, complete, lacking nothing.

Quite a lot of good from just going forth with joy from stuff were subjected to/confronted with, by God's allowance. Resist the Enemy's draw and temptation with........

.............patience, Nods. :)

And, great will be your reward from your patience produced. When we start to do the God things asked of us to do we can save money from going searching for all those self-help books about learning how to be at one with God :)

Patience, just a little perseverence, just just, yeah, yeah, a little patience, will make those every-roses have a lot less thorns, make those nights of seemingly utter darkness have a knowing dawn. Yeah, a little patience, a little faith, every mountain will be gone. With a little , more and more perfected by His,will, patience, yeah, yeah, will make those every-roses have a....

You, too, will be busy then ^, won't you, Nods :)

The Lord leads, I'm not saying either I'm like perfect, ha!, I struggle with PATIENCE hourly, not daily, but God is good and His grace gives me the ability to work on it more and more, and, thetefore, poke myself less and less :)
