I've seen plenty of prayer requests posted on these forums. I have been blessed for much of my life, I simply have a praise request.

I just wanted to say thank you to God most recently for guiding me to a new house. I placed an offer yesterday and it was accepted today. He certainly does provide.

Amen! Let's continue this awesome trend you've started.

I praise God for a job in my field in a world of unemployment (it really is Him, I'm just glad He gave me the right chance meetings and skills necessary to have it).
I praise God for the fact I no longer come across as retarded to people.
I praise God for my friendships and a possible love interest.
I praise God for a sea of books at my personal disposal.
I praise God for the little things I couldn't think about.

I also praise him for this site. Only hear would posts like this generate outside the context of Thanksgiving.

Indeed, our God provides, lightnin' :)

I remember one time listening to sermon radio station, KGNW , when Ravi Zacharias was preaching on 'Divine Providence' and how God extraordinarily intervened on behalf of Joseph several times to lead Joseph's life from danger to safety. Joseph, through the pit experience, courtesy of his 11 brothers, through prison, courtesy of Potiphar's wife lie serving Joseph injuztice, God''s hand was there to safely
get Joseph through the trouble and in the due time of continuous faithfulness to God Joseph became 2nd in command to only Pharaoh, in all Egypt. Also, Joseph provided mercy and gave forgiveness to his brothers.

God blesses us for doing our best to let Him lead our lives through His Spirit living inside us. :)

I praise God that a month ago he opened up my eyes to see that I had the power to chose to live my life happy. I really didnt think you could do that but its true. The pains and sorrows of this life are not strong enough to cancel out the beautiful promises of God.

I praise God for being all that He is in my life: My hope, my joy, my provider, my healer, and most importantly my source of guidance and wisdom. He's doing awesome stuff in my life and more things are on the way if I'll just pay attention. :)

And I apologize for laughing at this, Ritter :) : I praise God for the fact I no longer come across as retarded to people.

I praise God for the low times I've had in my life. He has used the worst events in my life (both caused by myself and others) to mold me into the man I am today.

I praise God that I am alive.

I praise God for the healing process taking place in my life, through the hardest life battle I've faced yet... He is certainly there in the midst of my pain.

I praise God that he has a plan for my future, even though I still don't know what that is.

I praise God the He is the same yesterday, today and forever. That His love never changes, that He is alwasy by side.

I praise God for providing all of my needs.

Lightnin', you have a fervor for Him, a passion to tell others what you believe, and, just spending time doing good God things instead of other things you could be doing sooo pleases Him.

I hope and pray your new place is awesome, remember to pay more than less for a home inspector, and, get things in WRITING of things that can be wrong that you do not know about, depending on IF you bought the home with a low price and maybe bought 'as is,' as that's an exception to the rule. Still, pray to God for it all to be done right with paperwork and that everything goes according to His will.

With big things becoming from God, I always say 'Thy will be done, Lord.' Even some small things. Hmm, now that I say that to you, I realize I have not been saying those words enough on c.c. Get READY, and, it's all your fault, lightnin', for having me remember this so now everyone will have to see two phrases from me all the time in reading my posts :D 'Course, as the Lord leads, I think what you just helped my green brains to future rememeber to do will be a good 'new' thing from me. Hence, The Lord does lead and He just used YOU :)


May God bless you soon with a girl, ,as I see you saying that in your posts, it's on your heart, Thy will be done :)
