In an act of desperation (let's call it what it is), I opened an account on CM and a few free sites to see who is out there. Note that I did not pay for the service at first. I just wanted to browse

Anyway, I crafted my profile to appeal to a certain type of woman (90% of the female population probably looked at it and rolled their eyes).

Three weeks ago tomorrow I received an email from an attractive girl who entitled it "Good Ol' Clive Staples." Something inside was telling me to pay through the nose to pay just so I could read it.

So I did. Anyway, since that time we exchanged emails about every topic under the sun and really connected in ways I didn't even think were possible. It got to the point that I considered someone rifled through everything I ever posted on the internet and built my composite dreamgirl in order to swindle me.

That is how strange and serendipitous this was.

Naturally, I agreed to meet her and make the day of it (she lives two hours away).

So we did! At first I had my doubts. Not because of her- I was stressed and when I get stressed I don't get angry or sad, I just get odd. More dorky than my usual self.

She didn't seem to mind. We just talked. The date lasted for about 14 hrs. And now I am back home wishing I was two hours away again.

We're making plans to meet up again very soon.

Needless to say, I cannot thank each and every one of you enough.

God bless you, Ritt, and, I think it's great you came for a prayer request for a date. Awesome :) God hears all His peoples prayers going up and out from them, and, in this case, their prayers were for you from them :) Prayer changes things. Do it daily, and, the peace that will encompass all that happens in your life will be 'great.'
