Happy Father's Day to all the Dads, Stepdads, Granddads, Single Moms Who Do The Work of a Dad, Under-Appreciated Dads, to everyone who has ever been a male mentor to a child, to all the Quality Uncles, and to Any Guy who has ever taught someone else about our Heavenly Father!

Dear Lord, God, Father in Heaven: We thank you for being able to call you Dad. We thank you for being the perfect father. I know that there are many, Abba, who will be hurting this weekend as they recall the father that they wished they had. God I know that You are the Great Healer. I pray that those who ache will find solace in you, that they will open their hearts to your perfect parenting, and that you will guide them to godly men to help fill in some of those gaps that their own earthly father left. Thank you, Yahweh, for my family. Thank you for my children - the best gifts you have given me have always been children - my son, my daughter, and Jesus the Christ, your Son. Thank you for adopting us into your family, Lord. Thank you for my blood family and the family related to me through Your Son's blood - a sacrifice that I as a father have trouble grasping. I pray, Dear Father, that you will help melt the hearts of us all, that we may know, understand, and remember that Each and Every Single One of us is worth that sacrifice to you. Help us to come to see ourselves and each other as you see us. Happy Father's Day, God.

Yes indeed...ditto to what you said above Mr.Belt & a Pre-Father's Day shout out to YOU! He who keeps it all together for the love of his children...submitting himself daily to God...with a heart that only wants to love & protect his dear children. How cool is that? I never had much of a relationship with my biological Dad once my parents split when I was 5. It's a blessing to see any man (or single Mom) Take on the role of both parents. To see a Man who adores his kids the way God,our Father loves & protects us...looking out for us. You & I may not agree on everything my friend,but I can say this with certainty..I am 100% sure that God is watching you as you lead your children with love & wisdom and He's smiling & saying "Well done,my son... I am so pleased with you...rest in me & I will continue to strengthen & guide you through it all."

I want to express my appreciation to dad's everywhere, who are there for their kids with alll the Love they have from Him given them. all you guys on c.c., I won't name names but you know who you are

I'm blessed to have had a dad that was a good family man, he loved his family, he is alive but he and mom seperated when I was 16, that was tough, that was a time after that. But, God is good and He uses things that Satan intends for evil for good and blainers said that he learned from watching irresponsible parents growing up---I would try to speak only 'Love' of our parents myself, but I understand where blainers can be coming from. My dad was not great at communication with my mom and that, ultimately, hurt their marriage most, I think. A man MUST be the man of the house and know his waYS ARE God's ways s, just like Joshua says, 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.' We let in 'worldly' things , like the VCR and Sony Beta machines and it was not good for me, my sister or our-up to then--solid church-going family.

Fellowship of the right kind brings life, but, fellowship of the wrong kind brings death. Something to think about, and, I am not judging anyone either, I am just saying... The Lord leads, please, understand my ways of speaking her is in Love

My dad was a great dad for we kids, we went on trips growing up, Hawaii, Mexico twice, lived in a house nicer than any other friend I knew and certainly more acreage growing up and motorcylces and things of that nature. He hugged and kissed us kids a lot growing up, and , just was a great dad, who provided for his family and that was his way of showing love, mostly, to mom. Mom found another girl friend who lost a husband to heartattack and began seeing her and less and less around dad, that led to distance of them both, and, ultimately, a heated argument that God was in the middle of, that I won't discuss, and, from it all, dad left.

They were just not ever touchy-feely with each other as I look back, not showing love to us kids either. That hurt me, I won't speak for my sister but for me , it hurt. But, again, I Love my dad , as God wants me to love him and I've had God show me in different ways how to get back to relationship with my dad, including counseling. we are now as good as can be and do a lot of things together including going to my sister's at the ocean this weekend for Father's Day

The kids & I signed and sent 3 fathers day cards... 1 for my only living grandfather. 1 for my father. 1 for the man at church that i sometimes slip and call dad...only he won't get his for a while seeing as how he is in Nicaragua on a mission trip right now. Back before their mom decided to leave, this man asked if there was anything he & his wife could do to support my family & my marriage... they agreed to act as additional grandparents to the kids, since their Actual grandparents live 6 hours (paternal) and 13+ hours (maternal) away. That couple continues to hold true to their word.

My biological Dad died when I was 16 from cancer, I was holding his hand when he died. I was a daddies girl, I miss him everyday. I have been blessed with a wonderful Step Dad. I've only known him for 5 years but he calls us all his son's and daughters and he treats my children like a true Grandpa would.

Happy Fathers Day to all you loving hard working Dad's out there. Speaking from the heart of a girl, kids need their Daddies. Mine definitely showed me what I should look for in the man I married.

He cares, Protecting as He protects ., because you know and love Him.. Because you have freely recieved His Son who now lives inside you. You are connected to the God head because you have this free gift living inside you, you are adopted as His Sons , this makes you sons and heirs of our Almighty God.. Priests over your family as He is Lord and master over you.. Love your families as God has loved you.. Filling them with the abundant mercy, love and forgive as as you have been shown .. You have a King for a father .. You are saintly priesthood . Men in righteous robes of His unfailing love Wich nurtures, protects, and guides you.. Because you know His Love , because you yield to your master , your king, your heavenly father , you obey Him as you minister all He has bestowed upon you to others .. following His example , He is able to lead and guide you into all the rich blessings He will pass down to generations to come after you.. because you know Him, so will others ..so will the fatherless who have no examples ..who do not know Gods love .. It will be you He uses to reach out to those He brings along your path.. So they may cone to know the love of our heavenly father better .. .. may you continue to grow and be blessed by
Him.. May His fatherly love be so deep in you that you become a wellspring , a reflection of Him that will flow like rivers .. that will lead others to His calm waters .. Be it fathers , grandparents, uncles , brothers , Friends, and yes mothers .. This role is fulfilled by many who god choses to use . so many are laying down their life as Christ laid down His life to be , to become as God is to us ..
We thank you father for your strength to love us when we are unlovable , to forgive is when we do not deserve it , to show us grace Wich humbles us before you .
