Ugly: I knew it! Nobody would suspect the bald guy of taking their hairbrush, so naturally you're the first one I suspected. Figure THAT out!
But wasn't it a bald guy who originally lost his hairbrush? Who took HIS?

Jullianna: My Missouri Tigers will be facing your Tennessee Volunteers November 2nd. :D We just joined the big leagues, and it looks like we've won every game thus far. Are you worried? *Smug Smudge doesn't actually really know what she's talking about, because she'd rather play sports than watch them, but she does enjoy the annual homecoming parade.*

* MissCris...If you & yer family won 5 Million dollars, would you stay in the state you live in now or move to a different state?
We'd stay put, but we'd definitely move closer to town and build a bigger house. All my family lives around here, and I kinda like most of 'em...so we'd stay.

Just for that. What's your favorite Mel Brooks movie?

And let's think.

Oncefallen. Are you a fan of Huskies? It would appear so.

Itorethesky. What's the most heroic thing you've ever done?

Julianna, it appears you are a police officer. What's the strangest interaction you've ever had with the public. It doesn't have to end in an arrest either.

Every one: Does this butt make my dress look big?
No, not at all! It's your big butt that makes your butt look big.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why dresses do not have back pockets for people to put their wallets in.=

Yay, you were the perfect fall man. I knew someone would walk into my set up. It was an elaborate and epic two part joke.

pipp -- you a fan of pippi longstocking ? if not, what's your username stand for ?

I've never cared one way or another for pippi Longstocking to be honest..... and here's where it gets weird.... I am 17 years older than my little brother Jacob. When Jacob was very young I got contact lenses... He said I didn't look right without my glasses , so he decided that with my glasses on he would call me Misty which is my real name and without them he called me Pippy. Some people at church heard it and started calling me Pippy... to this day half the people at church call me Pippy and most of their children call me aunt Pippy... weird , huh ? :)

My favorite book of the Bible... Hmmmmmm ?? I love Proverbs for all the instruction given and the book of Romans.... and well.....all of it.

That worked great. Except for the punchline. You know, the part that's Supposed to be fun. Except that it wasn't...

Shouryu, I'm going to ask you a question that might take some time. What is your favorite Homestar Runner short. You can pick up to three if it's a toss up. And they can be longer toons, shorts, or answering machines.

3. Teen Girl Squad: TGS Numba 3

I heart all the TGS shorts. They narrowly beat out Answering Machine 2.0, which had me in tears when I first heard it. "Pom-Pom, that's not what I said!!!"

2. Techno: COMPY 386

Funny because it's true, and funny because it's funny. Makes for a nice time filler in a talent show if you have six or seven people to cover all the parts.

1. Dragon: Compy 386!

Trogdor is the ultimate. HSR was all the rage during my grad school years, to the point that when I became director of the basketball band, I wrote this for them to play. That's right - this was played at NCAA games for several years, because the Roadrunner Revue is awesome like that.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17831153/Best of RRR - 05 - Trogdor the Burninator ('04).mp3

(Just download it. I'm not savvy enough right now to make it into a YT vid.)

Shouryu: Which Joss universe character do you most identify with?

There's certainly some correlation with Billy/Dr. Horrible, a man who got exactly what he desired, but inadvertantly lost something profound (even if it had no real reason to be profound). But in the end, I've felt an awful lot like Victor from Dollhouse throughout my life - oh, this needs to be done, and we don't have someone who specializes in that? Give it to Shour, he'll figure it out. If only it were as easy as it was for the actives; just plug the information (and personality) in as needed.

Link is my favorite to cosplay

I've seen one or two photos of your Link cosplay before; it's still impressive. I think the Ezio one is even more impressive.

Shouryu, do you mind sharing your story on that? You don't have to. But since you know what it's like, I'm interested.

My best friend from high school and college. We were roommates, and both clarinetists. Everything came more naturally to him; I had to work twice as hard to come close to playing as well as he did. Intensely charasmatic, people were drawn to him. In fifteen years, I only once heard a single person say, "I don't care much for him." Other than Becca, EVERYONE loved him. At one point, I vowed to be done with dating until he moved to a different city, because a girl I really, really liked chose him over me for the hojillionth time (stuck with it, too). Through it all, though, I always loved him. His sudden and tragic death shocked us all, and his funeral was standing room only, with probably another 100 people outside the church. A couple years before he passed, I no longer felt like I was in his shadow, as I was finding success in my own career and was attached to The Ex at the time, so the grudge was long passed. But even when it was there...like I said, you couldn't help but love the guy.

Shouryu...If you owned a lightsaber what colour would it be & why?

Hmm. Never given it much thought; I've always been a casual Star Wars fan, and more of a Trek die hard. But I do like Star Wars. I'm a big fan of the original light blue that Luke used through the first two films. (I didn't pay attention enough through the prequels to note whether or not Anakin is actually using that same light saber, since Obi-wan tells Luke it's his father's in Episode 4.) Windu purple seems a little over the top for me, and I've never been real big on red or yellow. The green from Episode VI is okay, I suppose. I always identified more with Han as it is. ^_^

Shouryu: What's your favorite Gershwin piece?

The stereotypical answers would be An American In Paris or Rhapsody In Blue due to their memorable (and perhaps overplayed) clarinet/bass clarinet parts (yes, I can do the Rhapsody gliss, albeit not as well as my best friend could), but Gershwin's best clarinet work was actually written for piano and later transcribed for clarinet. It fits so well, it's almost as if he wrote them for the wrong instrument first: his Three Preludes. (Awesome question, btw.)

I'mma have to think of more questions. You guys threw some doozies at me!

Catherder... THIS was the last time I laughed so hard my sides hurt. I dunno. I still laugh looking at it and thinking about Jim reacting that way. Hahahaa...

I'm not sure this is the last time, but I saw a drunk man near my sister, and I thought he had tried to grab her. It turns out he had just stumbled, but for a few seconds I was like

GraceLikeRain: If you could change anything about your life, what would it be?
Oops Jullianna, I just saw this! Hmmm. I can't think of much I'd want to change. Probably I'd love to ENJOY cooking. That would make life easier. :p

This is half of the back yard. I'm so excited. :)
Catlynn, I don't know how I missed this - that is a SWEET backyard! Just what I'd want mine to look like. I love all that space, privacy, and GREEN!!

GraceLikeRain...If we were dating & one day I randomly asked you to paint my face like Darth Maul would you look at me like I was mentally challenged or think,"Wow,my man is strong in the Force!",and would paint it happily?

I'd totally paint you. However, I would not appear in public with you afterward.

And... my agreeing to paint you would in no way negate the possibility of your being mentally challenged.

"Stupid face painters apparently never heard of Darth Maul."

itoreHis: the last time I cried? Good question. I don't cry much but when my dog got lost 3 years ago I cried and prayed to God to bring her back. He did, she was at a house a half mile away. They told me they would have kept her cuz they had a couple pitts. I was lucky to find her too , she was outside playing with this couple and their two kids. I was on my last run of the day and probably would have went to the pound for the next week straight and every month for the next month or two seeing if she showed up. And, she never would have. So, God is good, as usual, He took my tears aways :)

----------------------------------
Wackiest belief I had as a child? Hmm, I believed in *spoiler: please young kiddies don't read this next part* Santa until I was in 7th grade. Mom and dad were pretty sneaky, but, I seriously believed until that time.

-------------
Scar I got, julieannie asked this: I was 15 years old and I was with my grandpa and 6 of my cousins and we were going fishing. I was carrying a fishing pole through a brushy area, hook in my one hand, pole in the other. I was trying to keep it from being tangled but lost the hook going through these bushes and I lost it right smack dab into the top of my middle finger on my right hand. That hurt pretty bad, but the serious pain came when my grandpa told me that he would have to take it out. Just hearing those words hurt and I nearly fainted when he threaded the hook through my flesh the long way out for the hooK . Whew! recalling this story makes my finger hurt :D

Why should you have to ask permission? This is a thread about asking people questions.
hey thanks. hmm. i just thought that my questions would be too personal and make everyone annoyed.
I don't know that I ever actually believed this, but I made up a story to entertain my family when I was about...8 or 9. I had this elaborate tale about how I was actually a princess from Jupiter, how I'd actually hatched from an egg, how the spot on Jupiter isn't actually a huge storm, but the palace I lived in, cleverly disguised as...you know, whatever. I told this story, and added to it, so often that I might've started to believe it a little.

I'm...glad....that I grew out of it. You know, a few years back.
hey that's very strange! but totally very entertaining. :D thanks for sharing!

On/in the water, preferably a lake or the ocean. It calms me. I love the sound and power of it.
thanks, i like that too especially at sunset. :)

*** My fav place to be & why?...Well if you mean geographically or like a specific place, there's many places I'd like to see,but haven't yet. I like to sit outside in the fall drinking coffee just being with good friends. The thought of that brings back fond memories & I haven't been able to do that in a really long time due to many factors beyond my control. I guess now that I'm a bit older I don't crave wanting to be "doing" something 24/7 anymore. I'm just content with being at home sharing a blanket with a loved on & a doggie. lol God...this is getting pathetic. I think I'll change my fav place to be would be under a rock right now.

hey thanks. i think it's heartwarming.

Question for everybody:

What's the lamest excuse you've ever used, and what were you trying to get out of doing?
My ex-HR: hey what time did you arrive?

me: 9:30am

My ex-HR: our interview starts at 9am

me: what? you texted 10am.

My ex-HR:- really?

me: yes!

My ex-HR: oh.. *thinking* okay, sorry

me: no problem.:)

(actually the whole time is i can't remember if it's 9 or 10am, because i've deleted the text few days before the interview, i can't remember it so maybe i'm right and i'm not making lame excuses. anyway we'd been friends after that.)

@MissCris...lamest excuse I ever gave...wow...I'm sure there are loads that I can't remember but one that jumps out is when I was like 16 yrs old...I was supposed to go into work at 5pm & wouldn't be getting out til at least 11pm or later & I remember just wanting to hang out with my friends 'cause they were gonna be doing something fun that night & I detested having to work that shift anyway,so I decided I needed to make up a good story as to why I couldn't come in. I think I called work at like 4:45 or something 'cause I was so nervous about the dumb story I was about to tell them & trying to make it believable...I told them I couldn't work because I had to go to a funeral. lol At night! Is there even such a thing??? Anyways,I could tell by the response I got on the other end, that they so knew I was a big fat liar. So yeah, that one always stuck with me. *hangs head in shame*
