Because its nice to be reminded that there are decent godly men out there who are really great guys (don't make me start naming names). Also because it's the easiest way to get people to sort of hang out with and talk to me. And because there isn't a whole lot in churches for us older (post college) singles.

I stay here for the same reason I always attend family dinners - because there's a bunch of wingnuts here with a great sense of humor and I don't know what I'll miss if I don't hang around.

I will say though, that we seem to have more than our share of threads having to do with dating in particular and relationships in general. Makes me think some single people ain't too happy about being single...
