I have said this a lot in my own life. Not many know about this, except for some of my own family. The heart of the person is what tells their character. It is not about what they have, what they look like, or their worldly stature. It is about their very heart.
Even God can look at the heart of the person to know their very intentions. The heart of a person is of something of major importance. The heart never fades with age, the appearance can.
The very blood that flows from your heart, is the very blood that keeps you alive. If you have hate in your blood, it will be in your heart as well. If you have love in your heart, you will have love in your blood.
It is never a bad imagery as many put it in today’s society to tell someone how you feel. God had shown us how He feels about us that very day on Calvary. So many in today’s society want to limit love, where God’s love is limitless.
We are told to be Christ-like right? Then how come it is so bad in society to even tell someone how you feel deep down inside? I will tell you to as why that is,
  1. Fear of rejection. This harbors major anxiety and can cause anyone to step back. Even when it comes to true love. The world puts major boundaries on what they think love should be like. God had already shown us what true love is like; therefore, we should be Christ-like.
  2. Society says that appearances are way more important than a person’s true emotion. This is a major lie from hell itself.
  3. Love is hard, the reason why love is not easy is because of high expectations. The world, the views of the world are in fact at fault for this. Remember, greater is He who is inside of you than he who is inside the world.
  4. Personal importance. To feel important is to have what we had always wanted in the first place. However, when we actually have what we wanted we never truly know how to act accordingly to that. In many cases it is because what we actually wanted? Was not what we wanted all along. Or, we just do not see the true value in what we have.
  5. High expectation. We are told to be a certain way. To test people and their emotions, to push them to the limit to make sure what they see, could be true or just a lie. However, this in many ways is also another lie. Reason being, if you put major expectation on a potential love in this life, where God puts no expectation except for what is in your own heart, you fail to see the importance within your on self. This importance is the importance of the love of God, not the love of the world.
  6. Worldly desires kill true love. True love is supposed to be a bond between two people. Never had was it meant to be about good looks, stature, or fame. Those three elements is what kill people, and the love inside. You allow love to grow in your heart because of those three elements, you will fail every time. It is a trap from satan himself to hinder your own very walk with God.
  7. Hindrance in your walk with God. When you focus true love on those three things that were previously mentioned. You then fall into the trap of idolatry. That makes it where you love what you can not have, apposed to loving what you do have which is God Himself.
  8. When you focus on God, love will find a way. God will show you what you were meant to be, and who you were meant to be with all along. He will show you the truth to your heart, and to your eyes. True love comes form God, and He desires the love of your heart to grow for Him, and for your partner.
  9. Let go, and Let God. When you push yourself to the brink of depression over someone you admire, or love that is a way of self-destruction. Allow God to do His work in, and through you then you will then see what was meant for you all along.
  10. Let something go, if it was meant to be it will return. I am sure you know this one all too well in your own lives. To let something go, is to see if it returns. When someone does not return, then in truth it was not meant to be. However, with God He always returns as He never leaves you, nor does He forsake you.
Remember family, the heart grows fonder in the absence of a loved one. Amen

hmm number 5
well, someone who doesnt know God cant love God if they dont know Him or what He does for us. I think most people are affected by the gospel but some really dont understand who Jesus is and why he died for us. It seems a lot of people dismiss him as someone who did that ages ago and not actively saving people right now from their sin.

A lot of people think that they can just be self-righteous without needing Jesus. But it would be impossible to live up to the standard Jesus set if we dont have his spirit IN us. Thats why we need to repent, believe and be baptised, but some people refuse this or they want the believe part without the baptism, or dont even get to the repenting part, they just want to buy religion with money.

You cant buy or bribe God. The holy spirit is not for sale, yet theres many churches that say if you have money, you can buy a membership into the church lol

You see, that is the thing. Even when I published my book I told my publisher these very words, “I don’t care about the royalties as long as my book benefits God and the reader that is all I care about.”

store your riches in Heaven is the better choice

Let us look at number 5 before alot of questions come in lol

God does expect us to love Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind.
For me what i would say about number five comes from what ive felt in the past and what im dealing with in the present.

High expectation- testing someone expecting much more from them...yet God has loved us unconditionally. Im struggling with love and expressing it due to past relationships. Sometimes a person tests to see if its a lie or the truth because of past hurts, where youve ended up extremely heart broken you have loved fully and freely and that has ended up becoming your downfall if i may call it that...the person knows you love them and some humans being humans in some form with time take it for granted..they forfet the gift of love...so once a person leaves that emotionally abusive relationship he or she( in this case I) believed as a born again christian i need to have standards and not want to end up feeling so little of myself or anyone making me feel less than..therefore you find yourself questioning the authenticity of the feelings you have or of the feelings that other person has for you so you want to make sure that they are sincere and not just a passing fancy..so you keep testing them in little waya to prove to yourself more than to prove them wrong or right... next time you feel you love someone there is this desire to just be cautious but at the same time you have this high exoectations that i agree are born out of selfishness..just thinking about you you you.
As of the present I was just praying for relationships in my life for a while now and for me to let go of the past as it was affecting me and God just put it in my heart that i needed to just Love Him and stop trying to fix myself but focus on Him and let Him deal with me as i had realised it wasnt the man but it was me. I was the one with the problems. Therefore for now ive shifted my focys on God and loving Him by obeying His commands and allowing Him to love me as He does and the rest will fall into place..but so far number 5 plagued me for 6 yrs...im a work in progress.

I also have a problem with what you said about if it was meant to be the person will come back...no offence but i honestly dont beleive in that. I beleive if they left they were never meant to be in your life...if you let them go they were not meant to stay in your life.some bad apples have found their way many years later creeping their way back and i mean someone after 10 yrs others three years trying to find their way back i just dont beleive they were meant to be in my life. The father of my son was a very very abusive man physically, emotionally, psychologically and when i finally managed to get the courage to give it up and leave after trying to make it work for years. We parted ways three years later he shows up wants to get back together asking for forgiveness...i forgave him but refused to go back with him. I strongly beleive God took me out of that situation and no matter the fact he said he was now born again i felt it would be going against Gods wishes...for many nights and days id cry to God to get me out of the situation....and when He did i became the child God created me to be not the person my ex had made me become...and as i was moving forward in christ and in life he suddenly shows up begging to come back. I just felt he was not meant to be in my life in that way...i forgave him allowed him to see his son but when he realised i wasnt going to take him back he disappeared again not seeing his son at all...it was all an act in my opinion. So sometimes even when they come back doesnt mean they are supposed to be in your life...i just dont beleive in that.perhaps i need an explanation.

Sister, you are exactly correct. 🙂 In truth if a person was meant to be with you they would not leave in the first place.

My heart had been played with so much that I don’t know what to deal with.

This whole thing in my own life is the girl I had been with for four years is all about herself, and money.

I have not felt love for her in over a year and a halph. I don’t speak much more on that other girl who tried to use me that mess hurts.

Love is supposed to be love, never a game what so ever.

But many don’t care about the other person they just want what they can get out of them.

To me what people call love is actually utter selfishness..ever since i purposed to focus and just know and experience the Love of God ive realised everything i thought i knew was all for their own gratification...many say i love you but in short they mean i have to have you for my own satisfaction and love is never about do this for me or buy me this or that its about giving and never expecting anything in return because it just makes you happy loving that person and seeing that person happy..its never about you but the other person...sadly many dont know that and end up taking those who trully love them for granted instead of sharing that love experiencing it together...they abuse it..

Im sorry about the lady in particular..she lost someone wonderful. Its her loss and your gain. You have averted a life of misery that wouldve either pushed you further away from Christ or drawn you closer to God but not to the fullest of what you were to be

Love should never be one sided, for God’s love never returns void neither does His Word.

I had always been the type to take off my shirt for someone who needed it. My roommate has no job but I let him stay because he hit a major rough patch and my return? A friendship regained because now we go driving and just hang out when I’m off work.

He does not ask for nothing, but I do give him food and he lets me vent.

I treat how I am treated and I had always had a motto saying treat how you want to be treated, and love how you want to be loved.

Indeed do unto others as you would like them do unto you! That helps in keeping one in check when selfishness wants to creep in God reminds us through those words and you get back on track and eventually it becomes who you are...continue being an instrument of love spreading the love Christ died for us to have freely to those aroynd you...loving your neighbour as you love yourself...your roommate sounds cool.

In all my dog helps keep me sane in the insanity. God gave her to me when I really needed her. My dog is my buddy and she and I get inseparable at times unless I’m gone or working she stays in her kennel or on my bed with me when I’m here
