So, I just recently became single after being married for 7 years, so I'll probably have a lot of questions in the future, but here's my first, the majority of my guy friends right now, if they're not married then they're under 21 and call me dad, (I'm 27). Is it just me or is it nearly impossible to find a single friend over 25 that doesn't act like they're still in highschool?

Lol, I'm waiting for the backlash on the generalization.

To answer your question, maybe it's you, maybe not.

Where are you meeting these men, or how do you know them?

Pretty much all of them I met while playing on the worship team at church.

A lot of men in their 20s simply don't have the same life experiences that you have yet, so I can see where you are struggling to connect with someone with a little more maturity. I'm not a guy or a parent and I've never been married, but if I was faced with your situation, I don't know if id be leaning on other single young men. I'm sending prayers your way though :)

I'm 21 and have always been told that I am very mature for my age. I find it hard to meet people who are at my maturity level and tend to gravitate toward older people. If you would like to talk sometime, I'm a good listener. God Bless!

I can relate, at 37 and single its hard for me to meet guys that aren't married that are my age. Its a rather lonely age to be in if you aren't married.

Play a sport, cricket is a good one, but as you don't have that baseball might barely suffice.

yes sometimes it is hard to be alone. I am still waiting and praying but I am also trying to use the time while I am still single.

He's actually referring to making friends of the same gender, who are single and his age to hang out with. Not about dating or marriage.
