After losing the love of my life one year ago, how do I start over? I am 61 years old and don't want a lot of bs, but would enjoy a great friendship.

widowbug, hello. :) I am a widow too. It has been a few years.

How do we start over? One day at a time.....prayerfully. I thought I would never fall in love again, but I have since then and probably will again now that I know it's possible.

I agree that just being friends with someone is a better idea so soon after your loss. It's very easy for someone to take advantage of us when our hearts are raw and vulnerable.
