This stay at home gig is so boring, I went and got a cat.
Mum thinks I should go work in a sewing factory, otherwise we could open up a sweatshop at home. But she reckons I cannot sew fast enough.

My sis has come to help me with the housework. Unfortunately she thinks she's the boss. Its worse than when mum was the boss.

When someone thinks it’s appropriate to come help you with your household chores they appoint themselves “boss” the second they step into your house.

dad swept and mopped the floors last night and cleaned the toilet
I made dinner and did the dishes
my sister went out to a restaurant and her friend got lost trying to find her car. Good case for staying at home, dont have to look for a carpark, or pay for one.

Do men ever do housework or do they think it emasculates them.

Ive noticed when men left to their own devices the housework doesnt get done until its too late and then they hire someone else to do it, the roof is rusting, floors dont get swept, the rubbish bins are full, the toilet backs up, the appliances are all left on, the dishes left in the sink, the beds unmade, the windows all closed and curtians mouldy cos they have to rush off to 'work' lol

Maybe work is really just the opportunity to drive a vehicle and feel useful driving it round. Or an excuse to leave home.

Don't these two posts contradict each other?

How many single men's places have you inspected? Where they home at the time? :sneaky: Could they feel your judgmental eyes?

if you have to do something you don't enjoy, there's always a way to find something to assist you so you can enjoy it.

Adding to Enjoyment, i would say that if you love what you do, you're not working.
I haven't felt like working at all in the last 15 years especially.
I also work for customers on the weekend or vacation or other occasions. Work is part of life so it cannot be separated so if you don't enjoy it, then you're going to have a hard time and stress most of your life.
I really did enjoy working from home and i thank God for that. Now that i am onsite i don't think we accomplish as much as when you're home and more focused but i realize that everyone has different preferences including my friends at work.
Some of them cannot stay at home, while i would love to be home forever.

I think its hard if you dont have your own home cos you cant stay at home, its not even yours. Why should you work there if you dont feel at home. You then feel its not even yours and your work is unappreciated.

In the workplace, if you dont feel 'at home' there you wont stay long.

I bet that's true, if you love what you do it doesn't feel like work. What do you do, Eli1?
