I may just say yes to the arranged marriage after all.
Please don't do this. With all the crap you go through at home, you do not want to set yourself up for a lifetime of the same with someone your parents pick out. (I'm assuming with the hindu background in your family that this is probably what is happening but it is an assumption). You don't want to go through life with a husband who is not a believer and will tear down your newfound faith.

I think of the movie Braveheart when the princess is offering him land and titles to stop fighting and tells him peace is made in such ways, he responds slaves are made in such ways. Please don't settle for living a life of slavery just to have a little peace now.

I know it's not very popular but I'm a big fan of semi home made stuff. I'm the queen of doctoring a cake mix to make it taste home made. Of course I don't do that all the time.
Do you do brownies ♥?!

Maybe I am too honest with selling my car online. Very little bites. It's the mileage.

You said HONEST things about your car?

You realize how suspicious that makes you sound?

It'll never sell.

Try putting a 'Save the Whales' bumper sticker on it. That may be of some help. You are right about the mileage part though...

What I wrote:

Selling my Hyundai Elantra. I purchased this car from a dealer in February, but I am going back to school in the Fall and need money towards tuition.

Specs-
Automatic
4 Door
2.0L
4Cyl
Grey
Cruise control
Clean CarProof report (I have the papers)
255,000kms (majority of it is hwy miles while in my possession)
Had no trouble starting it this past winter even when I couldn't always plug it in.

Both passenger and driver-side Front Axels have been replaced
Valve cover gasket replaced
Recent Oil Change

The car does need belts replaced. Midas has advised me that PS belt, AC belt and alternator belt needs replacement soon. Washer fluid pump needs to be fixed. Timing Belt is still good. There is some rust around the wheel wells coming through the paint.

All in all, this car drives smoothly and quietly- especially on the highways.

**this car is available to be sold as is as of Wednesday August 6th***

The market value for my year with that mileage is $2000. I am asking $1800. I am not getting my money back from that axels obviously. If I fix the belts that is another $200, just to have someone try to talk me down to $1800. I am not doing the belts and selling the car. I would like the money towards tuition and rather not have the extra expense of a car/insurance.

Good description - I like your honesty in disclosing everything.

Just my thought on the pictures, in case these are the only ones you posted, is that it would be nice to have a picture or two that shows the entire car either from the front, side, or rear view. Also including a picture of dashboard would be nice too. Lastly, I hope potential buyers don't have to turn their head to see the pictures correctly if this is exactly how they were posted.

I think I have a cat as a best friend. As soon as I open my screen door, who runs around the corner from the neighbours house but Sadie. Meowing and trilling away. Telling me about her day and whatever else cats talk about. So we lay in the grass together, walks around, pounces on a twig I move around in the grass, boops me, lays on me. And now it's time to go and she keeps going up my steps.

I really wish my roommate would get her freeloading butt a job. I never get the place to myself. Like even bloody any fast food or restaurant joint. Call centres are always hiring with flexible hours. Even my line of work though she wouldn't be a good fit. There's plenty of jobs.

Also, I wish she was out of the house, so that I could take Sadie in the house ;) I'm asking for trouble.

If I had my way:

Get a place of my own
Take Sadie with me
Have a career/ job of adequate income

Live happily ever after.

Losing a cat is THE WORST. I can't imagine how you feel right now because Sadie is still here, and you see her. She's JUST out of reach. That'd be so awful.
