This is why I don't have a Church. Clothing is even specifically addressed in James 2:3 and says not to have respect of persons when it comes to Church dress. I do want to be anywhere near that type of congregation. Not that I am any better than them because we are all sinners but this type of stuff drives me crazy. I can not be around people like that.

I have been looking for a small local Bible Study group and I believe that will turn out well. I am not holding my breath on finding a Church though

and ROH. I am really sorry you have to put up with this kinda stuff and I know you are hanging in there for your parents. Ill pray for you
Nah I hear you man, there's a church not far from where I'm at that I'll take a peek at in the near future. But as of right now this is the only place I've found where I can chop it up with fellow believers every now and then.

But yeah there's some bad behavior I can tolerate, I'd like to believe that I can tolerate and forgive plenty, but I know there's certain things I cant. But that doesn't mean I won't attempt to change in order to forgive those certain types, I don't care how hard it is, I'll keep trying until I am able to forgive. Lol it just may take a minute tho

I'm beginning to regret starting this No-Shave November thing last month lol. But alas, my friends and I started this tradition in hs and it must continue.

I wonder if this is where my co-worker got the idea for our bet? He bet me that whoever shaves first has to treat the other to seafood after work. :D (That Alaskan king crab is mine.)

I was not having a good day. And I just got preached at and labelled "rebelious" by someone in my Church for wearing denim today. And apparently, I have been the reason for my parents getting a bad reputation in Church.

I have been trying really hard to keep everyone happy. Why wouldn't they accept me for who I am??

God knows how badly I want a window of opportunity to move out.
.... wow
- Want me to make an appearance? If denim is enough to offend them, 'll scare them senseless :p

Just gimme a minute and I'll bring some friends:

- The one who has three piercings in her ear and one in her lip
- A male who sows
- The ones with swords
- The one who dresses like a goth
- The ones who are into BDSM

(Not all of them are Christians but the people in your church don't need to know that :p )
is that OK for a start you think? :D

It's probably a good idea to leave these ones at home.

A male who... sews? Why is that bad? Only women can sew?

I don't get it...

Well, the people in Roh's church had a problem with him wearing denim , I figured they would assume that if a man sows that means that his wife is the one doing the "man things" and that he isn't the head of the hosuehold and yadda yadda.

I think it's cool that my friend sows. Especially since, the last time I saw him do it, he had a heave amour coat on and sword in his lap.

*Lynx looks at the loaf of sourdough bread he made...

Well so much for baking. That's a girl thing.

Only if you have money for shipping. I'm flat broke right now. But the freezer is full of bread so I'm fine until payday. Just can't ship anything.

wwjd_kilden, I go to church with a homosexual friend (female, not every Sunday but every few weeks), patiently waiting for the day that her eyes get opened. She's my co-worker and used to date another co-worker of ours. It's kinda difficult getting caught between the sin and the sinner.
