i have a computer question. please help! or web browser question. idk!

i signed up to pay my car payment online. i'm trying to actually make a payment, but the website says i need to enable cookies. so i checked, and as far as i know, cookies are enabled. i tried multiple times, and the dang website keeps saying the same thing. i tried it with different browsers, too. i googled how to enable cookies for each browser to make sure. i'm following all the steps, but nothing!

help. please.

If you have followed the steps to enable cookies, they are probably enabled. In most browsers, cookies are enabled by default. It sounds most likely that the site has some issues, and it isn't the fault of your browser.

Do you have an adblock/pop up blocker? Sometimes payment sites will show the receipt as a pop up or pop out window...

As gross as I feel to recommend it, use Internet Explorer 11 (if you're not already using it, and if you're not using a Mac). Some sites have coding issues with other browsers.

I've never worked at a grocery store/restaurant/or fast food place. Ever.

I am currently working two parttime jobs at two grocery stores.

It is a buffer until I find a fulltime job.

it definitely has its perks. Let me explain:

1) I have men flirting with me and I awkwardly just laugh, not knowing what else to say.
2) I have received rude customers
3) I've had people sneeze in their hands then hand me the change
4) I've had really slow days
5) I've had really fast paced days
6) I don't have regular hours (which I'm trying to get used to. It's hard to plan a social life and time for myself)

Transitions are hard. Being away from coworkers and people you've known for a while and they have felt like family, it's just very hard to walk away from it.

But I am so thankful for God who blessed me with two jobs for this time being within two weeks of being fired. I am amazed. Job searching is not easy and extremely hard. I'm so thankful for my boyfriend, my family, and my friends (that includes my CC friends as well :p) who really dealt with my emotions and my feelings. They gave me space when I needed it, but cared about me enough to reach out. My boyfriend, family, and friends are the most selfless people I know and am so thankful to have them in my life.

Now, I'm done being sappy.

Wow! Shiney you're so strong.. you makes me embrassed of myself now.. how i wish i can be so strong like you..

I was worked in a company before and i hate the situation there.. so i resign and decided to have my own work and would never ever work for someone anymore (traumatic)
as the result i have to going back home in the process (i was living on the other city before) and deal with some circumstances at home too..

I think i'm just being childish and reading your story makes me want to get up and try more harder than i am now.. thanks for sharing and hope you're doing well there.. God bless :)

^Also, with being "fired" is a bit negative concerning my situation. They are basing stuff off of a "he said she said" which wasn't entirely true. I have good work ethics so it was very hurtful to have my boss believing a coworker, who is already a known gossiper and spreads lies about others (it's happened a few times) over my character :/. I consider myself a pretty honest individual. That's not to brag or to boost myself up, but I do try my best to lead a life of integrity. This hasn't really happened to me before and it was very shocking.

It was pretty messy and very hurtful, but eventually, I got to a place of forgiveness. It actually happened yesterday lol.

Sounds like there's a spiritual warfare element to all of this. I'm glad you've arrived at a place of forgiveness. That must've been very difficult. Good on you, Shine.

Ugh.. thats really upsetting!
your boss will realize that its just a rumor soon.. when a person has an attitude to spread lies/gossip, he/she will do it to everyone.. and people (including your boss) will know it too soon.. its just a matter of time..

Glad you can handle it well :)
