So, I think I need to ask for advice from my CC peeps. Is playing the marrying Mr. Darcy card game the same as playing dating games? It seems that dating games are frowned upon but I couldn't see anything evil about playing that particular game. (And no I didn't get to marry Darcy, I got stuck with Mr. Collins).

In other news I'm pretty hopeful that I'll get the job I've been interviewing for (should know by the end of the week or early next week) and while I know it's good, it's also setting off all the internal impending transition / I hate change alarms. Guess some of us just don't know how to be happy even when things go well.

Trepidation about an impending transition is par for the course. It means you're human. Congrats! :D

And my response that always gets an eye-roll from my dad or brothers "but it feels so cuddly!" lol

the moment when someone walks in saying they have an 11 am appointment, and i tell them i don't have them on the calendar.

"well, i called yesterday to reschedule for today."

"umm.. i'm thinking you're in the wrong facility."

Melita, you should try this at least once with a patient.

Kids are horribly annoying, 1,5 hours with the bus. Luckily I met a guy from church in the bus who thought it was funny, it made his trip less boring and it made them behave a tiny bit. We're almost there.
