Free lunch today.... I ordered a pizza with a side salad...

A) my salad is twice the size of my pizza...
B) the box my pizza came in looked very deceiving... -_-

Lets just say... Free food never tasted more disgusting ever. I give this meal a 2.

I should have brought my own stinking lunch...

i don't claim to have a perfect appointment book. there have been times i put the patient down at the wrong day/time.

but i find it a little difficult to believe when a patient shows me his/her calendar saying they have the correct date/time...

especially when 99.9% of the time, before the call ends or patient leaves the office, i say, "i have your appointment for (day/date/time)."

sigh.

Wondering how long it would take for working 60-70 hours a week to kill me, wondering if I even want to consider the whole juggling 2 jobs thing, wondering if I'm really becoming quite lazy.

On the plus side though, here's hoping I might have a new job soon (had one interview today and have another (with a different company) rescheduled for sometime later this week).

Wow. Why do you do this and let them treat you as a doormat? You're way too kind and helpful. Don't forget yourself. Love your neighbour as yourself. If people can only use you and disrespect you, just let them.
Well, i love her. I've gone through a Lot of pain to prove it. And i felt as though God had us for marriage one day. She has a lot of issues, some that could be helped, some that can't. I suppose i feel that she needs to know she's loved, real love, by someone. I can't put up with things forever, but God keeps pushing me on, and no matter how she acts, she owns a piece of my heart, so i will stay and fight as long as i can. But i will have a breaking point, and she knows this.
She's not a horrible person, just a very hurt and confused person that is actually, deep down, wonderful inside.

Anyone would be totally blessed to have a real life friend of your caliber and dedication. How do you manage to frequently have close friends who don't understand how awesome and valuable of a friend you are?
Someone should do a study. haha
Actually i think both in friendship and romance (especially romance as it seems to have been the case 99% of the time) people like that i am willing to go out of my way to help them with their worst issues, and not judge them. Problem is as those issues resolve, there is no real foundation, for them, of friendship with me. So the better they get the less need they have for me. I don't think it's purposeful. Just how things happen. People like me for what i can do for them, not for who i am.

Feels good to work again, I'm hoping that the person who is training me tomorrow is ethical.
I believe God's got this in his hands 100%, life is a hustle sometimes. lol

I have never mentioned this to anyone but it's so silly I don't even give it much thought since it's in my mind.

When I was a very small child I would get these dreams as I were made of rock not solid rock I had arms and legs I could move but it was slow and I was feeling very very heavy and dense. Recently I was lying on the floor watching a show on tv and I felt this same sensation like I was infinitely heavy and my mind wandered instantly to the dreams I had when I was small and precisely too. Very odd I don't know if anyone else gets the sensation but there is times that I dream on it again.

Who wants to work for me?

Its raining and perfect weather to sit around the house and watch movies all day long... Sigh.... How I wish I could do that... But I'll never get the pleasure and joy of that. :(

In local news, my new phone came yesterday. It is the current "world's smallest smartphone" and it does 4G, a critical lack in my former "world's smallest smartphone." So far I think I'll like it - which is a really good thing because if I don't like it I have no idea how I will get the SIM card back. Even tweezers probably wouldn't help.

With a name like Posh Mobile (Micro X s240) I thought it would be a rather wimpy phone built for the masses. You know, kinda like the Great Value food brand, which is neither great nor a value. But for such a small phone it seems to run programs... er, apps... pretty well.

I should have rephrased that. "World's smallest ANDROID phone." There are a lot of small smartphones, mostly running low-rate systems.

I found out from financial aid I get a decent refund because they overcharged me on books. The financial aid guy told me to email him today, and I thought it was about whether or not the check would be ready. So I emailed him asking about the status and he replied, "the check will take 3-4 weeks to process, sorry about the miscommunication."

If he knew it would be 3 or 4 weeks, why tell me to email him today?

Spent Friday-Monday with my father-in-law and his wife where they live now (a few hours south of here). It was a lot better than I thought it would be...considering the history with both of them, and the fact that my husband, kids, and I stayed at their house rather than a hotel. Kids got spoiled rotten, candy and clothes and toys and cartoons and staying up extra late. We all went swimming a couple times, and shopping. SHOPPING. My...step-mother-in-law...took me to some department store and sent the kids off with their dad and grandpa. Then she started grabbing stuff off racks, and when her arms were full, she handed it all to me and sent me to the dressing rooms.

So...first, I have never been one to try on clothes just for the heck of it. If for some crazy reason I ever do try something on, it's because I'm buying something specific and expensive and let's face it, that just doesn't happen. I shop for clothes online. Maybe once a year. And I buy dark colors. Plain stuff. Functional.

The clothes she had me trying on were...bright. And fancy. I mean, for HER they were way casual, but for me...fancy. Anyway, I think I tried on every shirt in the store and half the jeans before she sorted them all out into two piles- keep, and forget about. The keep pile was scary big, and I told her I could really only buy one or two things. She said "No, no, my treat, let's get a pair of shoes too...women always need shoes."

IT WAS SO AWKWARD.

And generous. And unexpected. And...kind.

I thought she didn't even like me, or was at least indifferent to me.

When we left Monday morning, my father-in-law hugged me goodbye.

Basically, the weekend ended in a lot of confusion and a new summer wardrobe that I feel weird wearing. But, you know, all in a good way.

This really makes me happy, Cris. She sounds like an amazing woman and a good friend. I'm not one to go shopping with other people "for fun", but the times when I have, it's been so fun and all about bonding. It's hard NOT to relax a little when you are trying on crazy outfits. lol. Good for you!

Supposed to have 80% chance of rain next 4 days here in the Coastal Bend, but you know how that goes. We have a local weather fella the community has given him the nickname "Dead Wrong Dale". Stay safe.
