So I'm at home with mom cooking lunch. This young man knocks on the door and my mom answers. He asked her if she had voted yet and my mom said yes. Then he asks if she voted Democrat or Republican. My mom said that it was personal and she wasn't going to answer. He then left saying "have a good day."
Is this normal? And why did he want to know? Are there organizations going around asking this? I'm a little weirded out.

I think they're just trying to guesstimate the outcome. I'll be glad when it's over.

I've heard of people going door to door in order to drum up support for their candidate but this is the first time I heard of someone asking who you voted for. Maybe that's how some surveys are done now, but I have no idea.

Sometimes I'm just sick of this world and live on an island with only peace. I know it's not ideal or realistic unless I die and go to heaven but this world sucks sometimes, strike that all the time. I pray to God for peace but the book of revelation tells me the worst is yet to come

I've been in Disney World for the last two days. We are having a blast but I'm exhausted. I bet if Disney made a ride where your feet were massaged during the ride, people would flock to it. I've walked over 40,000 steps since I left yesterday. My feet hate me. Only 5 more days to go.

On on a side note...I've had REAL problems logging in. It's like when I log in it just acts like I did nothing OR when I go to post it logs me out. It's so frustrating! I haven't been able to comment or like anything for a couple of days.

I read something about grammar Nazis... I'm a grammar Nazi. It's mostly an OCD thing, but it's also just because sometimes I feel like being a troll and pointing out when people are being stupid... I'm a terrible person sometimes.

I went grocery shopping over the weekend and saw they had Thanksgiving turkeys on sale. I bought one and roasted it yesterday. I plan to make all sorts of recipes with it this week: turkey soup, turkey croquettes, and turkey potpie. Tonight though, I'm just gonna have sliced turkey with the regular sides of mashed potatoes & green beans. And of course, gravy!

My dog comes with me when I run errands sometimes. When she can see me through a window while I'm doing whatever, she sits in the drivers seat and stares at me. It's pretty darn cute.
