Are you OK with that?

Yeah. There are some times I feel sad that I never found anyone who just was nuts about me or me about her, but those times happen less frequently as the years go by.

My problem is that I spoke out publicly about some drama in the church and my family that I was being pulled into (I had no other way to try to get help for the situation I was in, really) and they got really angry at me so they decided to have society single me out over it. They tried to manipulate me into certain situations and it didn't work because I smelled BS.

It made me basically a target, an outcast, so now I get stalked and kept out of meaningful relationships.

I'm kind of like you except that I may be a little warmer in the accessibility department.

You know what the sad thing is?

The biggest hope Christianity seems to offer... is that "Someday, we'll all die and be in Glory, with Jesus!!!"

I ponder that sometimes.

That the biggest hope God seems to offer... is that we will die. And only He can choose when. I mean, sure, we pretty it up with talk of heaven and all that, and I'm sure it WILL be wonderful, but the basic truth is, our one and only hope... is death.

Sorry guys. Just have some serious thoughts lately. And yeah, ruminating on being alone for many, many years.

What's the difference between a nerd and a geek? Do geeks have the same girl issues?

Of course we could get into a lot more detail about the definitions of the two, how they compare and contrast, and the ten minute slideshow presentation on the topic... and discover I am both a geek AND a nerd.

The alternative is not having any hope at all. If there's no God, then this is all we got and it will be over in a few years. And nothing we do matters because the whole human race is a cosmic random chance.

Man, that really IS depressing! I'll stick with the hope I have.

I had my eyes dilated today and it seemed to last a while. My Husband and I had an appointment with a counselor for the first time today, nothing major, anyhow when we left I said, I probably should've told her that my eyes were dialted, but I forgot. So now I wonder if she wrote, wife's pupils are always dilated, she might be related to Ted Guzinski or Charles Manson, note to have extra security present at next appointment.

Well that's just the deciever whispering in your ear.

I can assure you, awkward and annoying are appropriate words to describe me.

God has to put up with it 24/7. He is chuckling right now. Unlimited patience, I suppose. Lol
No matter how 'geeky' you might seem, it's always nice to have people in your life who only see you as "lovely"..

Brie cheese and fruit and a Ativan or 2 really take the edge off a day.

I missed the geek-out. Or was it a nerd-out? Or does this question just out me as a geek?
