Okay, I may be a little slow on the uptake here... do you work @ McDonald's?
Yes that is my place of painful empl... er, gainful employment. Which is ironic, as I loathe fast food.

Ah well, I bring my lunch from home and I eat well.

Did y'all hear that Family Christian stores everywhere are closing? I will admit I always thought they were really expensive. Like I'm usually interested in books mostly and they can't compete with amazon prices. But it's still sad. I liked going there even if it was just to look at overpriced paintings and figurines.

Me: Trying to quickly finish up eating my fruit snacks from lunch while PreK was drawing, since I didn't get more then 5-10 minutes for lunch. (I hate lines.)
PreKer: Comes up and holds out his to me, expecting me to give him some.

I told his grandma what he did, she busted out laughing.

He was just following the example in the Bible: He was looking on you, expecting to receive something.

You should have said, "Spare fruit snacks have I none, and I ain't got nothing else. Go in peace my son."

say, how long does it take to get an activation email for your account here? I remember that it took a while on mine...

Anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, just depends on when an Admin is logged in.

For real, Fenner! I wear black leather toe shoes as dress shoes. Some adults at church still haven't noticed. And you can't claim they're just too polite to say anything, because every once in a while somebody will notice the shoes I've been wearing for three years now and comment about them.

Kids in children's church: first day.

I've been dealing with some stuff lately and it's affecting many areas of my life. It's weighing so heavy on my heart. I recently made a decision about a relationship that is really important to me and it was an extremely difficult decision. I wish I was in a better place in my life. Anxiety and stress sucks.

When fear rules, faith falters. I've let fear rum many parts of my life. The result? Regret. Emptiness. Difficulty in seeing yourself in a positive light.
Isolation feeds fear. When the only conversation is the one in your head your thinking distorts and cycles and there is very little chance for resolution. And you will always pay the price. And those around you, children, family, friends, romantic interests, will also have to pay that price along with you.
When you try to do everything alone don't be surprised when you end up alone. Fear ruins everything.

The dog came with me to the mechanics today. She made new friends that smelled like grease and oil, but they were really nice.

So found out today that someone else messed up some paperwork somewhere and my check bounced. Not a happy camper about that. Will be even less of a happy camper if the responsible parties don't cover the bounced check fee(s).
