I'm rather peeved today...

Why? Because I found out that one of my favourite threads (The troll thread) was deleted this morning, and 70 of my posts are now gone forever!!! Meaning that I have to type up those 70 posts again somewhere...don't you just hate it when that happens?!
Maybe the mods are trolling you.

I used to sing that at karaoke :D
I would have liked to have seen that, haha.

That film made me love that song btw, I remember when I first saw The Breakfast Club, and heard that song at the end of the movie, I felt I had to find that song asap, haha.

Ive done that with a few other films, too. I did it with Dont Dream Its Over from The Stand, and Where Is My Mind? from the end of Fight Club. If not for those films, I would have never even heard these songs, haha.

Lol. No, not Fargo. I have been there, though! :). Offta is in the entire state of Minnesota and those few bits of North Dakota where we are overpopulated by Swedes :D

Did you ever see the movie Fargo? Frances McDormand's character said that word a lot throughout the movie :) She played a pregnant police officer who was investigating the kidnapping of William H. Macy's wife by Peter Stormare and Steve Buscemi. The characters were constantly moving back and forth between Minnesota and North Dakota, same as in the series that was eventually made :D Steve ended up being fed into a wood chipper, which is one of the reasons I think people really like that movie

That was back in the early nineties :) I should scan some of my pics from back then  It was a song I really liked but had never seriously considered doing except for the fact that there was this guy who sang it horribly... so bad that it was criminal haha and I hope I did it more justice than he did :D

I love the original of Superstar, and watched part of the official video for Where is My Mind, which was weird
 I did see the movie The Fight Club many years ago, but have forgotten lots of it, I mean, was there really a sequence with Edward Norton and a penguin? Edward Norton is one of those actors that I can hardly stand, there is just something really creepy about him to me :p

That is an illegitimate spelling and should never ever be used! lol (there are very strong opinions on the word offta and how it should be spelled for those who use it in conversation).

Is this in any way similar to how geeks and nerds feel strongly about the definitions of the words geek and nerd?

Are there pictures of you singing at the karaoke? If there are you should totally share them here : p

And haha, well he was brave for being willing to actually do it despite being a bad singer : p Or at least I hope he knew, would kinda feel bad for the guy if he went up there thinking he was the bomb, haha.

And haha, I was not even aware there was a video for Where is my mind. Have never seen it, I found out the band name from a group who covered the song from an open mic I used to go to and went out to the library and found the CD, haha. I should look up the video here soon.

I dont remember a penguin? Haha, I havent seen it in a long time either : p But aw I actually like Edward Norton, Ive only seen him in a few movies but I always thought he did a good job. I also liked him in The Illusionist, it was a really good film.

Is there a time length on how long a conversation needs to be?

I think I to get to the point more often than not and it's awkward/embarrassing for the other person (at least today).

One cycle of the circle of communication is all that is necessary. No need to make noise just for it's own sake.
