golly i looooove that 5 minute rule. i just realized that the second photo is from a different time/locale. oh well. pretty pictures!

is it friiiiday yet?

i was asked today if i would be interested in being a permanent part of the sunday worship team. the first thing i thought of was, "oh boy, every week???".

ironically, i've been filling in for someone since the first of the year, and while it was called a "temporary fill in", i have been just fine with every week for several months now.

call it "permanent" and i practically get hives worrying about being over-committed.

hahahahahaa. funny how that works.

hahah yes, just think that entire blood bath could have been avoided if the hound just went to CC ;)
You're so right! The Hound isn't himself when he's hungry. I think there's a Snickers ad in there, somewhere.

yes, it's pretty, isn't it?

this is considered central oregon.

specifically, this hiking area is in the mt. jefferson area, contained within the massive willamette forest, which has many, many beautiful hiking options.

this particular area would be part of what i consider my "top 20" favorite hikes, of which i try to hit at least once or twice a year.

also, you can bring your suit and soak in the natural hot springs afterwards. oh. so, lovely.

Monica, why are you doing this to me? I am absolutely dying to spend a month in your area just to see these amazing sights. I don't know if I can properly express how tranquil and overwhelming the thought of seeing these places is to me. I think I have some sort of fever now...

I can't stop watching the Hound eating his chicken. It's strangely mesmerizing.
