I really don't pay attention to which forum the new posts are in for whatever reason. I just go with the OP title, then I find out later it's in __________ forum. Yes, I've posted not knowing which forum it was in. :D
Yes this is how i operate also.. I just come in and click on the "new posts" and see if any of the threads are new and interesting and then i open then and see if i can add to the discussion with a comment... Then i select the ""recent Activity"" option to see if anyone has made a recent post that sparks my interest on the older threads.. I never bother looking at what sections they are in..

Oh and about this threads topic.. Yes there are groups in CC.. usually based on people having similar points of view in regard to theology.. So it is no surprise that people with similar POVs will tend to Friend each other and support each other when discussing theological points they all agree on..

For me it does not cause me any problems i just post what i believe is true and respond to the responses i get in the best way i can to support what i believe it true or to add clarity to my POV if i have not done a good enough job in my first post on the matter, which is often the case.

If another person on this forum starts to play me rather then play the topic at hand then thats when i will go for the ignore option.. I can handle people rejecting my beliefs and even passionately opposing my beliefs.. But once they start throwing out personal unfounded accusations then that's the end of future fellowship with that one..

I also think ( And i know some people will passionately oppose me on this point ) that men and woman are generally different when it comes to theological discussions and how they perceive opposition to their doctrine beliefs.. Woman tend to take opposition more personally and get their feelings hurt easier when they take part in a passionate discussion with people in opposition to their beliefs.. Men tend to more often enjoy the challenge of passionate opposition to their beliefs. They often end up admiring the other person for standing up for their beliefs with strong arguments, Bible quotes and fervent passion..

Yeah my last paragraph was not Politically Correct... But the good thing about CC is it is not ruled by Social justice warriors and others who are ruled by feelings rather then truth and logic..

That should have been ""Activity Stream"" but i guess most of you would have figured that out while reading it..

My encouragement is that we do spend this time here based on our private times soaking before God; getting rooted and grounded in Him, which may appear to be impractical, but will keep you remaining true to Him whatever happens. If we are One Body then, "CC" will rid itself of Satan's movements, (only commissioned by God Himself), and will live harmoniously with other people who are not just like us; even who are presently our enemies.
Amen. One thing I would add, Judas was with Jesus till the end, but it made no difference to
the message, how they learnt, or the love that was shared. Finding the enemy is irrelevant, they
are lost anyway and will always be so. Searching for them will just harm the wheat.

The prison of belief where the heart has gone cold, and no conviction for sin gets in, there is nothing
left but to love them. Maybe at the end a few will see the light, and reach out, and let Him in, but
few do.

If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

2 Peter 2:20-21
God has not called us to hunt down evil humans. This is not our mission or right. We are called by God to reconcile men to Himself by lifting Him up while He draws all men to Himself. Let me re-clarify that my stand was not against people who do evil, but rather evil itself - God's enemy in the room. For God's enemy is now my own, and should be the enemy of the body of Christ for those bodies who gather in His name. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities of darkness.

Finding the real enemy, however, is not irrelevant. This is what Satan would have us believe. All Satan needs is a passive Christian to take ground in the minds of men. This is not God's will to be passive in the light of God's will. John Wesley wrote: "Give me a hundred people who fear nothing but God, and who hate nothing but sin, and who know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and I will shake the world. God has not called us to survive the world in style and power. He has called us to both, put to death the things of the flesh, and to be more than conquerors in the world according to His will. To do that we must use the power of Christ to stand on the ground Christ has given us when the enemy (the devil & his powers) attacks. Sometimes we must speak even (to the devil) in someone when we stand.

But you reference also the parable of the weeds. This is accurate and I Amen you back. This does involve people who do evil. As Satan sows seeds amongst us in others Jesus explains to us their eventual plight. The harvest in that parable is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of man will send out His angels then and weed out everything that causes sin and all who do evil. The Angels at that time will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Thus, at this point in our mission God tells us vengeance is Mine; meaning His. We are to let God do as God does in reconciling men to Himself using us to lift Him up before His judgement comes to fully be felt on those who did not listen or accept Him. 2 Peter also gives us pause in its warning.

Have you people noticed that there is a certain pecking order in the BDF forum? And that the people on the bottom end of that pecking order are forced to find other forums to spread their...ah...doctrines?

Inevitably they wind up here, there and everywhere...

You are right I am afraid. Many leave because of this. My own approach is to remain here sharing what I believe Jesus teaches firstly and secondly I like to share things dealing with full translations of what are considered simply names, because they also magnify the Lord's Word.

I know most do not want to hear all I have to share, but even if I am used in some manner to help one other member of the Body of Christ my time in this age has been worthwhile.

Be ignored and put down, but do not allow others to drive you away. You are just as necessary as any other member of Christ's Body, amen.

PS.........Something that has been on my heart all day I want to share is what I read in my morning reading. Though I have read the lines many times before it has struck me deeply ass so wonderful.

It is Jesus Christ Who has brought to us all grace and truth.

I love this because my custom is to advise all to learn from Him directly as He has invited us all to do.

There are all too many individuals who miss out on the freedom of Christ simply because they learn from others first,
and this should not be.

I would love to see all who believe going to Him directly with every thing they want to know.....they will be blessed eternally.

I wonder when we look for encouragement, may be we listen to much to people and not
enough to the Lord.

There are many people who share and feel inspired but only one Jesus.
There should be no place where the refining fire has not made one whole, a glistening
work of His Kingdom.

So put your life on the line, test your faith, walk in the fire and meet Christ standing
with you Amen.

I usually see it as the older people completely disregarding any young persons opinion because we're to young. It's annoying so I hardly post there anymore.

Sadly 2000 years of church history tend to mean whatever new insight you bring, an older
believer has the counter argument or can see a flaw in something one has said.

Pride kicks in, and they love to bring a person down, literally.
But may I suggest, share with someone close to your outlook, and you will find encouragement,
as you both discover and grow in truth.

I spent time is bible study groups, then some not because I did not have anything more to
share, and more recently, I am involved to help encourage others in their walk in the Lord.
There are times and seasons for things, so rejoice in God how far He has brought you and
press on, for His ways are glorious.
