you can reach me at [email protected] if you are the man
"The man"? Don't you mean a man? But obviously you don't just mean any man who loves the Lord, right? Have you joined an on-line dating site?

I don't mean to give you hard time. I just find this a curious thing to do. If you are looking meet a guy on-line (something I recommend, by the way. It's really about getting over the stigma and stepping out of your comfort zone. Once you have those two things it's a really cool way to meet people) then wouldn't it make more sense to join an on-line dating site where you can tell everyone a bit more about yourself and where you could look at profiles of guys so you could find what you were looking for? Or, if you were looking for guys on this site in particular, why don't you send them private messages? If I wasn't already seeing someone then there are guys on this website that I'd be willing to meet if they lived closer to me.

Like comes with conditions but Love not
God's love comes with conditions..."WHOSOEVER CALLS"...."IF MY PEOPLE SHALL HUMBLE..."..."Love does have conditions and that is a good thing!

Before someone else is rude with you I want to give you a few tips because I know you are new. You want to check the date of the first post in a thread. This one is March 2009. Its not that you cannot comment on old threads but others will complain a "zombie" thread is being resurrected. Secondly the person that began the thread is now banned,so usually we let these type of threads die. :)

I appreciate your help. I am guessing that this is not a place for me to be if patience is lacking. I am not a stranger to life and the trials it brings, including the death of my son. I have no desire to be a part of a group that lacks love (patience, kindness...etc) I appreciate the love you have taken time to share with me. God bless you. I did read some (probably old stuff) that you posted. Be assured that TODAY is the first day of the rest of your life. How you live from this moment is what matters. The past is what you have DONE, it is not WHO YOU ARE. I would like to encourage you to continue to live as the loving, pure woman that you are...every moment forward.

Liking someone is when you begin learning who a person is and enjoy being around them. Loving someone is when you cant imagine going one day without having them in your world...someone you would die for. Romantic love is the same but with all the physical chemistry too.

"The difference between liking and loving someone?"

Hmm.

I'd take someone I like to McDonald's.

I'd take someone I love to The Olive Garden.

So I'd say... the difference between liking and loving someone... is about $15.

kaylagrl: I can't speak for anybody else of course, but before I call zombie I evaluate many factors. The thread topic, the thread age , the content of the post that resurrected the thread, etc. In this case I knew I was not going to call zombie thread when I saw the title. Some threads occasionally need to be resurrected.

Well that's because you choose Olive Garden. I have been to Olive Garden. It is okay in its own way, but much too pricey for the quality.

I didn't want people to jump her, being new, because of bringing an old thread to life, especially when the OP is banned. There are unseen rules here that newbies don't know and get offended, rightly so,when someone tells them these unstated rules we have. Anyway she doesn't have to listen to me,it was meant to help, she can comment wherever she wishes. I learned all this on my own,she will too.

Like means, to me, you make me smile, and love means I need you in my life to stay. :)

I think there are three loves, the first could be defined as like, and the last could be defined as love.

Attraction ----- you like what you see
Affection ------you like how this person makes you feel
Knowledge -----you love this person, cause you really know them.

I think attraction and affection are great deceivers in life. Until one can get passed lust and the emotional barrier, they might not know what love is. Love is knowledge and God knows all, therefore God is love. God can truly love us, since he knows us better than we know ourselves. We as humans fall for counterfeits, because we are generally not to bright as a whole. It's only when God gives us a new Spirit that we might possibly have some sort of real understanding of what love and wisdom is.

Ah let them complain about zombie threads all they want... Those who complain about it spend way too much time on here. There is no rule, either written or unwritten that forbids bringing up old threads.... And they bring back memories so I don't mind them.

We have to love all people, which love means that you do not want any harm to come to them, and you want only the best for them, regardless of how they behave.

We have to love all people, but we might not like them all.

Like is where we can tolerate the person to actually hang around them, for we like their character, and it does not bother us.

We have to love a person like Hitler, but we would not like him,and would not want to associate with him,for we would not like his character.

We might not like everyone, but we have to love everyone.

Love, want only the best for them, regardless of how they behave.Like, their character, and can associate with them without it bothering us.
