i'm not sure what floating pickles you're eating (or not eating). perhaps you've yet to be introduced to the wonder that is the dill pickle.

mmmm. salty. dilly. juicy. mmmmmm.

my dill pickles sink to the bottom of the jar and they're wonderfully dill-icious. : )

hahaha. i saw the "ho-made" stuff, and assume it to be typos.

but it took ALL of my will to pass on the joke i was going to make about prostituting picklers. : )

Every joke or meme that came to mind would make me risk getting banned. Instead, I offer but a humble picture of a sign meticulously crafted by others of similar persuasion. You have to admire the reconstructionist grammar that took an adjective and a noun, then turned it into a complete, albeit unpunctuated, sentence.

I'm quite sure that inside the box of Ball mason jars that I bought there was a warning label that said something along the lines of "Warning, possession of a uterus is required for the use of this product. Non-uterine possessors risk sever emotional duress when attempting to utilize this product." :p

When you really think about it, traditional skills died out with continuing urbanization. Not many people grow their own food anymore thus they don't see the need for home canning, when it's so much easier to run to Walmart and buy food that is already canned. I've been tempted to start home canning different things just so I can control what goes into it.

Wait, wait, wait. I voted for Sweet Pickles but our Aussie versions don't taste like lollies (candy) at all. They're just a slightly sweeter version of Dill Pickles. You crazy 'Mericans!

LoL I see what you mean. Home Made Apple Butter will never be the same. Thanks for pointing that out. My wife trys to help me but, you can see, she has failed. My education is Soooooooooooo Bad. I just learned in the last couple years when to use There and Their. I love learning new things and letting the Chat Rooms educate me. Bless you singles, and may God send you a good man and woman. I have been so blessed.

Now here is the funny thing - I HATE cucumbers, but I LOVE all of the poll mentioned pickles equally - Dill a must on a burger, sweet relish in my potato salad, and bread and butter just because. So I could not vote in the poll cause I like them all.

I wasn't sure if it was intentional or not, so thanks for clearing that up. :)

I still kind of want to say, though... oddly enough, I have made homemade pickles before. And while they were incredibly delicious, I don't think that is what makes me (or anyone) a "real woman", you know?
