Romans 8

38 For I am persuaded , that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present , nor things to come , 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Isaiah 57:1

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

EPHESIANS 3:14-21
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
that He would grant you ,according to the riches of His glory,to be strengthened
with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you,being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints
what is the width and length and depth and height -
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works
in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,world without end.
Amen.

Since I see no one has posted this one, I'll post one of the most widely known and beautiful verses that shows that God did not come for a select few, but for the whole world, so that everyone would have a chance to be called sons and daughters of God if they believe in him...

"“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

1 Timothy 1:12-17
New International Version (NIV)

12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. 13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

This is the verse I open my testimony with, the other I posted is the verse I close with. I encourage you to go back and read it, too. They make good bookends for relating the story of what God has done in my life.

Isaiah 25

6) And the LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain;
A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow,
And refined, aged wine.

7) And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples,
Even the veil which is stretched over all nations.

8) He will swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth;
For the LORD has spoken.

9) And it will be said in that day,
“Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us.
This is the LORD for whom we have waited;
Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

[h=1]Psalm 37:4-7 (New International Version)[/h]
4
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently or him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

[SUP]2 [/SUP]He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

2 Corinthians 3:18
English Standard Version (ESV)
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,[a] are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

This one was referenced in a rap song I was listening to this morning while working. Obviously not secular, mainstream rap.

...which of course brings to my mind:

Romans 12:2
Amplified Bible (AMP)
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

John and the Angel

6*The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

7*“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

8*I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9*But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”

10*Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11*Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

12*“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13*I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14*“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15*Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16*“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

17*The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

18*I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19*And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

20*He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21*The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

1 Peter 2:6
For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”
Revelation 14:1
[ The Lamb and the 144,000 ] Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Psalm 91
New International Version (NIV)
Psalm 91

1*Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
****will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2*I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
****my God, in whom I trust.”
3*Surely he will save you
****from the fowler’s snare
****and from the deadly pestilence.
4*He will cover you with his feathers,
****and under his wings you will find refuge;
****his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5*You will not fear the terror of night,
****nor the arrow that flies by day,
6*nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
****nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7*A thousand may fall at your side,
****ten thousand at your right hand,
****but it will not come near you.
8*You will only observe with your eyes
****and see the punishment of the wicked.
9*If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

****no disaster will come near your tent.
11*For he will command his angels concerning you
****to guard you in all your ways;
12*they will lift you up in their hands,
****so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13*You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
****you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14*“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
****I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15*He will call on me, and I will answer him;
****I will be with him in trouble,
****I will deliver him and honor him.
16*With long life I will satisfy him
****and show him my salvation.”

Romans 3:22
This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
