How does 8:30 sound?

I came to CC to find Christian people to chat with and I stayed because I found them. I have lots of friends here and would miss them very much if I had to leave.

Where should me and Green go for our honeymoon? :D
-----
To the moon. :D

No.

The question is...could you put up with me for the rest of your life?

Would you love me tomorrow if I did something bad (really bad) in our relationship today?

I believe, yes.

Do you ever wonder about why things are as they are, and what else they could be?

Yes,often, and when I think about it I then realize they can't be different and that they have a reason to be like that.
Why do you think God put you where you are? (country, family, social environment)

Ok, as if I would get out of this, the Lord leads , I will answer your probing question , KAYm.

God put me here because He knew I liked green, and, what do you know, I live in 'The Evergreen State.'
God put me here, where I live now which is amongst homeless all around-the-clock me, because He knew I would quietly keep watch and nourish their wants for what they really need...someone who constantly talks about the Lord leading their life.
God put me here to do the work I do because He knew I could reach others with quick words and a gentle smile, not to mention, a cute sunshine brown doggy with the cutest little mug you will ever see who gets oodles of compliments about her colors, her face markings, her speed, etc, which I constantly can tell others y of how I got Piddy Witkinstein.

Ok, enough, I tell ya, ENOUGH, LOL.

WHY do people have a hard time accepting where God has them in life?

Because God didn't allow them to see the truth. "The God of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Why do we behave so bad when our saviour is so perfect?
I know it's the human nature, but we're aware of the fact that we're not doing something acceptable for God and we keep making the same mistake. And sometimes we don't even feel guilty about it. I hope I'm not the only one... :(

Good, but it could always be better.

I also want to take a moment to address sah's question.

You're not the only one, and there are many of reasons.

Paul explained it as the law of sin and death at work in his life. Whatever you want to call it, there is a 'fallen', fleshly, worldly, sinful nature at work in us. God is also at work in us. We, however, get to choose which side to listen to and act on.

Naturally, we have a strong inclination to selfish things. Most of the time, selfishness leads to sin. The Bible tells us we're never tempted more than we can bear, and that God always provides a way out. The thing is, we have to be focusing on Him. Just like Peter, when we take our eyes off Him, we start to sink.

Now for my question to really bug your minds like it has mine.

Through Biblical study of both the Canon and Apographa, I believe that angels also have free will, and that they were created in the presence of God. (living in heaven)

So, how is it, that Satan, who was once one of God's three archangels, living in His presence all the time, could sin and choose something other than God and God's purpose?

I personally think your right that Angel's probably have free-will. Otherwise, I don't think we could explain Satan at all.

Anyone else, what do you think about AsifnPassing's question?

I was fairly astounded by your answer, Asif, to my above Q. Yes, exactly , we are confounded, so to speak by our FLESH! We must choose which máster we want to serve, our fleshly desires or our Godly directions.

Sah, what you said too, and, Yes, for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (ROM. 8:28) so, you, milady, are not alone in that thought of wanting to do right, knowingvwhat is right and, sigh, then doing wrong . Not easy, and,ver will ALL fail trying to do it but we must die to.self (flesh) by repenting of our sins and following God daily and being on a heart that when we do screw up we line right up to God again. Die, live, die, live, die, live, but alwayS become alive at the end of the day. I am not saying be hypocrite either, that is different. If you have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus, your dying to self will become more and more easy but NEVER over because God ways we are a work in progress all through our life.

Ok, my A to your Q now, Asif...

Satan fell from what commonly has fallen man, showing how much power there is in this throughout the aves of all time , from creation of man and woman to now....

What is it that Satan went after lustily despite having it made in the shade as God's top ángel?

Power. Satan wanted to be more powerful than God. Great question, Asif. Profound thouught. I love the book of Revelations, so much wildly prophe sying stuff in there that speaks now that we are indeed in the end times . Amazing . Just like old testament predicting a Saviour would come to.save the world vía prophet, Isaiah. Asif, I hope you consider seminary, the Lord leads, but you carry extremely good knowledge in that noggin of yours :)

I think the best thing I have to offer someone is a listening ear. I don't know what the worst is. My best friend might say my cooking, but whatever! :p :D
